Pokemon Stadium 2. PBR on the Wii wasn't too crash hot and would like a better version of it.

Pokemon XD. Man I loved that game. A 4th Gen one would be nice.

Star Wars Battlefront 2. Another awesome game and could really do well with the online scene as well.

We need another Siren game on PS3. That was the last console survival-horror game of the style I like.

I think it's about time for Freespace 3.

I'd love an Oni 2, but that's never going to happen.

And I think we all agree that another Timesplitters game would be very welcome.

Oh, and if someone could bring Looking Glass Studios, Troika, and Black Isle Studios back from the dead and get them to make sequels to pretty much everything they ever made, the world would be a better place.

I would love to see a psychonauts sequel. Its one of my all time favorite games. Plus its just funny as hell.
yes, this, they even left a cliff-hanger at the end of the first one with lily's father being kidnapped.

I'd still love to see an Otogi: 3 made sometime soon.
Marry me.

In all seriousness, I would quite literally punch a baby if it meant we got an Otogi 3. Part of me hopes that, with all the acclaim and success they've got with Demon's/Dark Souls, FROM Software will return to what is easily their most artistically striking series. Otogi (IMO) manages to outdo even Okami when it comes to sheer artistic bravado and use of Japanese inspiration.
And music. You left out music. The only other game I have ever played with music that has stuck with me as long is Katamari Damacy.
True dat. That game's a perfect example of how with good sound and art direction, games with outdated graphics can still look fucking beautiful. Have played very few games that capture a mood as well as the Otogi series, and it's basically the only reason I will occasionally dig up my old xbawks.

Although maybe it's better if we just leave it well enough alone. It'd probably just ruin it.
Yes, yes , yes. I'd be fine if we didn't have any of the characters coming back from Torment, but the Planescape world itself is too good to only visit once. Just think of all the possibilities from a city full of portals to every sort of possible plane. I would love this

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.

Alongside a remastered version, a complete, non-rushed sequel would have great potential and could even be superior to the original.

for me, there are two that stand apart from the crowd in this respect.

1) Mirror's Edge. Incredibly interesting gameplay concept, really cool visual design, one of the stronger female leads in gaming, IMHO. And yet it had a pretty terrible plot and the campaign was surprisingly linear for a parkour game. I know DICE has been saying that they want to make a sequel and EA has been waffling on it a bit, but I definitely feel that this game deserves a second chance, one where the developers can learn from the mistakes of the first game and turn out what would likely be a really cool product. (oh and it had a pretty damn awesome soundtrack too)

2) Jade Empire. It was an excellent RPG with some of the better action-game-style combat i've seen in the genre. I'd love to see this IP taken places. Bioware, as soon as you're done with the whole Mass Effect 3 thing, do me a favor and skip Dragon Age 3. Make this instead.

So what about the rest of you, escapists? What are some games that you think deserve another installment that haven't gotten one?
1. Jade Empire : Yeah, I would buy a Jade Empire sequel - it's the first game that came to mind when I saw this thread.

2. Sacrifice: Anyone play this on PC back in the day? I loved that game.

3. Quantum Redshift: For me, this was a hidden gem on xbox. Yeah, the characters were lacking (to put it mildly), but the gameplay was fun and easy to get into, and the graphics were great for their time.

Knights of the Old Republic 2. A sequel made by Obsidian, and NOT a goddamn MMO that does its best to shit over any of the subtlety KOTOR 2 offered.

It's likely that this title will never get a sequel due to the overwhelming success of THIS title.

Dude I've totally been thinking how awesome it would be if Battlefront followed TF2 more closely. Heavy could be a Wookie, and...that's all I've got so far admittedly...

Fallout 2. Fallout 3 is not Fallout. It is oblivion set in post-apocalypse DC. I want an actual sequel to the series

Mmmmnooo.... As awesome as Planescape:Torment was, I just don't see a sequel bringing anything good.. The story is just too self-contained.

OT:

Freelancer (I know Darkstar One and X3 are similar and more modern, but Freelancer had it's own appeal that neither title manages)

Jedi Knight (the series, not necessarily the latest game, Academy). The Force Unleashed doesn't count.

Mirror's Edge. I liked it. Gameplay worked great on the PC, a little more polish and some non-retarded story would make a very nice game. Hell, just ditch the whole story aspect and have me throw myself around rooftops just for the heck of it.

Let's see... Pikmin 3 would be nice... so would a Valve game that has "3" in the title... A new Chrono game would be nice... Painkiller deserves a sequel... Amnesia, though that's recent enough to say "maybe there will be one..." I'm waiting for Persona 5... Beyond Good & Evil... Mirror's Edge... When will there be a new Fatal Frame?... Pokemon Snap is the best Pokemon game in history...
