Psychonauts and Planescape: Torment

These are two games you always hear game hipsters obsess over. Play them and find out why.

KotOR II needs a proper sequel. TOR does not count in the slightest.

Also while we're on the topic of LucasArts, we need an X-Wing/TIE Fighter sequel too!
I hear the story for KOTOR 3 has been written. but the project was canceled. sad really.

Honestly if it were up to me, I would have them refine KOTOR2 before making KOTOR3. Feels like it isn't a proper sequel to KOTOR with all its flaws.

OT: Does HF2 E:3 count? I'm not even sure if its gonna come out anymore.

There's also Shenmue3 that's way overdue

Bioshock.

Perhaps a REAL sequel this time?
Funny. I can the same thing about so many games.

SSB Melee in particular needs a proper sequel instead of watered down garbage. I want it to be as comfortable, smooth and full of depth game play like in Melee. Even though I believe Miyamoto and HAL have lost the plot, I'm still waiting for a good sequel.

Nodoubtedly Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. I really would like to see more games based off of Lovecraft's fantastic stories. However, I would like it with less annoying bugs that ruin the greatness of the game itself.
Oh, and hire better voice actors.
I vote Michael Ironside for the lead role, that would be perfect. Ironside's voice would be perfect describing horrible eldritch terrors.

Battlefront 2
Republic Commando
Champions of Norrath: RTA

The first two are because they were so much fun, but LucasArts has decided that they weren't good enough for real sequels (none of this PSP garbage)

Champions of Norrath, I want to play with my family. We really played the hell out of the first two, but the studio shut down, and I haven't found anything the quite fill the void.

Deadly Premonition...it could have a sequel or a prequel in my eyes.
I agree. I would rather a sequel, as long as it was essentially a whole new story/case. No more red seeds etc.

I could also live with a prequel, man, I loved that game.

Weirdest Combination ever but: Jade Empire, Pokemon Snap, and Luigi's Mansion. I loved those games so hard.
Luigi's Mansion 2 has been announced at this year's E3.

Yes!

Oh, almost forgot to welcome you to the Escapist. Enjoy your stay! [sub][sub]Or else.. *cracks knuckles*[/sub][/sub]

OT: The support for the Extreme G Racing franchise was dropped some time ago and was left in the dust. No publisher wanted to pick up the rights to the name after Acclaim Entertainment filed for bankruptcy in 2004.

I feel the series is deserving of a new game for the future-racing market. Previous titles of the series featured detailed tracks, pulse pounding music, and an amazing sense of speed. Hitting supersonic speeds and breaking the sound barrier invoked a feeling of exhilaration.

The games are great still, but it looks like the series will be sitting this generation out, and perhaps those in the future. Pity.

they should at least finish the Gordon Freeman/Combine arc
I don,t care if they are going to kill Gordon off at the end but EP2 ended on a major cliffhanger.
