Stubbs the Zombies - No explanation needed, I had fun playing this.

Thief: The Dark Project - My favorite game ever. Period. It was actually the main reason I joined the escapist, I saw Yahtzee doing a review of it and laughed.

Lugaru Came with the humble indie bundle which I got yesterday, I played it for 10hours xD! Most addictive and EPIC GAME EVERRR!!

I remember playing 'Dare to Dream' and windows95, as well as the sequel 'Dare 2 Dream', I think it was called. Had a very original plot and characters, adn fantastic sense of humour. Classic point-n-click gameplay. I'm not sure i've played a game to-date that had as many moments that made me laugh out loud.
I haven't been able to find it anywhere over the last decade.

Outlive. It was basically a Starcraft clone, except with a plot. And it was absolutely brilliant. Me and my friends would play it for hours.

I have to say Banjo Kazooie/Tooie.

They were brilliant games that were massive critical successes and I'm sure that people have fond memories of them, but if you look at the top games of that era its almost certain that the Banjo games would be drowned out by other games like Zelda: OOT or Mario 64.

There's just no evidence of the legacy that a game of that quality should have left behind.
