So Goldeneye should have never been made. What about Spider-man 2 was also a fun game, repetitive but fun. What about the telltale Back to the future games. The Indiana Jones for SNES and the Super Star Wars games also for the SNES. some of the Harry Potter games were ok. LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean. Shall I go on?

...seriously, I could deal with every other bad game I have ever played if this crispy piece of deep fried fecal matter had never been green lit...and fans of the series had gotten the real third part...
But.... But that game was FUUUUUUNNNNN!

Here goes my list
Dead or Alive beach Volleyball games:
BMX XXX: Yeah the XXX was bad and unnecessary
Vampire Rain: pure junk. Kudo's for last through opening cut scene!
Sonic the Hedgehog...the weird one with animal/human love relations YUCK!
ANY Mary Kate and Ashley game EVER!: this one is obvious
Halo ODST: it was supposed to be a DLC for 20$ not filler for 60$
Tony Hawk games using the Board controller: Tony Hawk RiP
Force Unleashed 2: glorified demo not a full game
Final Fantasy X-II: dance dance JRPG!
Diablo III: It is overhyped taking forever to be released rehashed game that is being delayed so blizzard can make another billion dollars
Thats it for now!

see the zero punctuation review, his complaints for that are what it took for me to relize what a bloated 'relase the same game but with a different name' company nintendo is if any one dissagrees then fuck you!!!!

there may have been a few good nintendo games but this was not one of them
You're giving Yahtzee way too much credit. He's a funny comedian, but a terrible critic. Once, Yahtzee said he hoped to one day be the video game equivalent of Roger Ebert. Well, he's got the caustic attitude down, but he lacks Ebert's insightfullness. Zero Punctuation reviews regularly skip over core mechanics (like level design and power ups in a Mario game). At the moment, Yahtzee is just another jerk who was discovered on youtube and has yet to earn his attitude. He's not gaming's Roger Ebert; he's gaming's Justin Bieber.

But, hey, at least Yahtzee is funny.

A little off topic, but I suddenly remembered this video while reading mors616's post. I wonder why...

As for games that should never have been made. Umm...Custer's Revenge?

Probably Galleon on the original Xbox. It's still, to this day, the one game I wanted to completely forget about, but it was just SO terrible. D:

Ok, first off, I'm actually surprised we haven't had that much Nintendo hate. I like the Nintendo games of recent years (except Other M, screw that, and to a much lesser extant, Kirby's Epic Yarn). But, to answer the thread, Big Rig Truckers, Bejeweled Quest for the DS, and Daikatana

Fuck it, I'm not sifting through 5 pages to see if anyone's said this yet.

Metroid: Other M.

It ruined everything... Everything.

That new XCOM.

...okay so that one isn't out yet, I'll choose a different one... Shadowrun, or Final Fantasy X-2
Agree with the X-com, agree also with Shadowrun has long has you mean the 360 version, cause the one on genesis, for the time it was made, was the best adaption they could've made. Hell I sometimes still play that game, didn't grow old to well but it's still rocks.

OT: Any Final Fantasy after 7, especially the MMOs.

i enjoy these 3 game series but the internet would be better off without the flamewars they spawn >_>
I really hope you're joking. Really.

OT: I don't believe there is a single game that shouldn't have been made. To quote Yahtzee: "Even bad games have a place in gaming history, even if it's just to feature in some 'how not to do it' guide."

There are a lot of games I don't like. Including some really popular ones, like Call of Duty or Halo or Heavy Rain. Does that mean those games should not have been made? No. I will list a few games I *do* think would've been better left on the cutting room floor. Also included...my reasons (shocking, I know).

Secret Service - Glitchy AI, glitchy interface, impossible first mission.

Clive Barker's Jericho - I was excited for this after playing Undying. Even thought the demo was cool. Just turned out to be...well, utter crap. No save system other than auto-save? I have no problem with that as long as you don't have to advance the story 45 minutes (without dying) to reach the next checkpoint.

FFX-2 - Do we really need (mostly) awesome characters going the way of Britney Spears? I honestly can't understand what Square was thinking here. The whole outfit-power system was idiocy.

Wheel of Time - I love the books, so of course I bought the game. I regret it still. A fantasy epic series prime for an awesome RPG, and we get some B level shooter game instead. It baffles me.

I can't think of any that shouldn't have existed. If people enjoy the game, why shouldn't it exist? A game is for entertaiment, and if people enjoy a game, then it has fufilled its purpose.

There's a correct answer to this question:

Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

HI-YI-YI-YAH
That game needs so much fixing. The single player is completely broken, the online multiplayer sucks, and the local multiplayer sucks horribly when the only person willing to play with you picks Pit, runs to the other end of the room, spams arrows, and runs to the other side when you get close, over and over and over and over like some kind of player-driven Get Back Here Boss. What makes that situation even worse is when said person excuses their *****-strategy by saying "IT'S EFFECTIVE" and is also physically stronger than you, can and has kicked your ass in real fights.

To this day I still say the original was the best, and I will always stand by that statement. It was the only one that was fun.

... BUT WAIT. I then remembered a game also on the Wii far worse than Brawl. Far, far, far worse. A game with so atrociously awful that it systematically raped my childhood, and I never looked on its predecessor with the same sense of joy and nostalgia again.

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World.

I normally would get into why and start ranting and raving about how much it sucks, why everyone who likes it sucks[footnote]For god's sakes please don't start going "EVEREE-1 HAZ RITE TO OPINYUN" on me, it's... It's an exaggeration, okay?[/footnote], etcetera, but it's 11:15 at night and I still have one last day of my junior year to go. Joy.

Custer's Revenge is the ultimate standout in this category.

Among more modern, mainstream games: DNF. An outdated genre, outdated (lack of) humor, and a socially outdated concept.

Anyone ever heard of a game called Ghost Vibration? Possibly the worst example of a rail shooter, take a genre where story is supposed to be the key, awkward controls and horrific animation even for its time and mix them together.

The only decent description of it I could find is this:

Command & Conquer 4: Tiberium Twilight

Certainly was the twilight for that series, the beginning of an endless night.
