Team Buddies
Alundra (No no, I know 'Alundra 2' exists. But it wasn't a goddamn sequel in my book)
Granstream Saga
Warzone 2100
Cannon Fodder
Raptor
Zone 66
and Hexen.

I will be in awe if anyone recognizes more than half of these.

I have it, and I agree. Me and my pops play it still.

ARCANUM: of steamworks and magick obscura

Goddamnit. Why!? Why won't they make more of that game. I'd love to see it given the fallout treatment (considering the original used the same engine as the first two fallout games)

SECONDED!!!
That game still blows most modern day stuff out of the water.

And a continuation for HOMEWORLD!

I'd like to see a new Breath of Fire game. Other games let you fight dragons. Only Breath of Fire let you become a dragon!

And I'm not talking about Dragon Quarter. It was okay, but one of the big draws of Breath of Fire, transforming into a dragon, was actively discouraged in that game. I don't play Breath of Fire to fight as a human.

Actually, now that you mention it, I think that would make for a very interesting spin-off franchise. I would love to play through the lives of some more ODST's, and ODST was a good game, just a bit too short like you said.

I also want a Mirror's Edge 2. While it is confirmed as 'happening', there has not been any news for quite some time. I shall continue hoping though :)

And for all of it's critisicsm, other than it's length, the new Medal of Honor had a very good campaign and it also deserves a sequel. Just as long as they make it longer. I liked the characters but I think a longer campaign, not trying to be CoD so much, would really give it a new voice.

EDIT: And some mor Grim Fandango would be nice. I've borrowed it a bajillion times out of my library, so I wouldn't mind a remake too (yeah they have some LucasArts games, including Escape From Minkey Island as well).

A good sequel after Monkey Island 2
also Half life episode 3, Modern Warfare 3, KoTOR 3, A half decent Jedi Knight sequel and I haven't played Hot Pursuit but a NFS up to the standard of Most Wanted would be nice

Sequels I'd like to see:

- Republic Commando 2

- Republic Commando 3: Empire Commando (Seriously, who wouldn't like to play a stormtrooper?)

- KOTOR 3 (I look forward to the MMO as well, but KOTOR 3 would be great... if they allow themselves time and budget to actually finish it this time.)

- SWAT 5 (with the relative realism and good character models of SWAT 3, and the more user-friendly approach of SWAT 4, and with a nice plot.)

- Half-Life 2: Episode 3 (or are we talking about sequels that might actually happen?)

- Mass Effect spinoffs; yes, I want Mass Effect 3 with Shepard, but imagine these:
-- Mass Effect: C-SEC (Garrus before joining up with Shepard, or possibly Chellick, in an investigative RPG and shooter)
-- Mass Effect: Humanity's Ascent (Space and ground strategy game set during humanity's discovery of the mass relays, up to and including the Turian wars.)
-- Mass Effect: Arcangel (Garrus' adventures on Omega)
-- Mass Effect: Fall of the Protheans (The final days of the Protheans)
-- Mass Effect: Shadow Broker (Commodity trading and espionage simulator, possibly with first- or third-person elements)
-- Mass Effect: Alliance Marine (First-person shooter, from the Rachni Wars, through the Krogan Rebellion, to a last stand at Eden Prime.)

- Ultimate Peggle: The Revenge Of Peggle Extreme (OK, maybe not.)

- Monkey Island (A first- or third-person modern-style RPG)

- A better Mafia 2

- Saints Row 3 (or at least those DLC packs being released for SR2)

...and a few others I can't think of right now. There are a lot of games I've enjoyed enough to want sequels to... ;-)

Well, here is my list:

Freespace 3 (FS 2 was truly epic. But I want more Shivans...)

TIE Fighter 2 (You know we all want it bad...)

X-Wing 2 (I know Alliance was "X-Wing 2" but names, names...)

Also, awmperry list applies...

I'd love to see a Zone of the Enders 3. Fast paced, free flying mech combat? Yes, please. May I have some more?

I would love a sequel or spin-off to Super Mario Sunshine, especially if it had more of those weird space platforming levels.

1. To see just how much more they could do with destruction physics on current generation hardware.

2. Because the game didn't end. I'd don't mean in the sequel-baiting sense, it was more like the developers ran out of time and forgot to put he main antagonist into the last level ... or any part of the game for that matter.

(Yes, I am aware of Bodycount but that's a spiritual successor, not a sequel)

I've said it once, and I'll say it again: Project: Snowblind. Even an HD remake would make me scream like a little girl.
