Star wars: Jedi Academy! I spent so many hours on that game, and they left with a cliffhanger ending, and then nothing happened! I didn't become a dark lord of the sith for nothing!

Jedi Academy, Republic Commando...
I agree with both of these guys.
Here's my list:
-Jedi Academy (and the whole Jedi Knight series, by extension.)
-Republic Commando (I loved the first-person hacking/bomb arming for some reason, and I want to find out what really happened to Sev)
-Star Wars X-Wing and TIE Fighter
-Star Wars Battlefront (Seriously, someone just finish it and take my damn money)
I know there are others, but I think I should just keep my post limited to Star Wars or it'd go on for days.
I will note that I want Lucasarts nowhere near these properties, ever.
I'd like to see Jedi Academy with a fresh coat of paint, and perhaps with Mount and Blade style directional attacks. This would bring lightsaber combat more in line with the look and feel of the original trilogy. My favorite thing about Jedi Academy was always the custom skinning and mapping community. I'd love to see those get integrated more into the game, so we'd have individual and intimidating sith battling heroic jedi in exotic and beautiful locations. I get images in my head of fighting inside huge temples, on crumbling towers in the rain, and on flimsy catwalks above sizzling lava. Some extra moves like kicks, spins, and perhaps some rudimentary force powers like push and pull would work great in what I imagine would be a more duel-focused game. The story mode would follow your path to knighthood or dominance over the galaxy, taking on one or a few enemies at a time. Multiplayer would definitely have 1v1 duels as the focus, but it could have everything from ffa to capture the flag to some sort of conquest or King of the hill mode. I also really liked the 2v1 power duels from JA, so that'd carry over.
As for X-Wing/TIE Fighter, I'd like to see a campaign where you join either side as your own custom pilot and take part in a squadron. It would be like Top Gun meets Star Wars meets Mass Effect. You'd get to customize your guy, tune your X-Wing/TIE, go out on all your various missions together, and then chat up your squadron and commander back at base.
As for multiplayer, I'd love to have some massive, complex network of servers that function as pseudo-matchmaking. There would be one large galaxy map, and players would ship off to serve on active carriers within that galaxy map. When two carriers meet, they enter battle. The actual logistics isn't fully worked out yet, but the idea is that you'd have some small amount of persistence. Instead of having a lobby, you have two separate carriers that act as segregated lobbies where people perform their customizing and socializing, and then when they get paired up, the players all enter the instanced round with the carriers functioning as spawn points. What would be neat is some form of private match carrier, or clan carriers. Each carrier could have it's own name, perhaps a little emblem on it somewhere, or some other distinguishing feature. You could choose which carriers to serve on, and it might feel a bit more personal. Sort of like a server browser combined with matchmaking. You'd seek out carriers frequented by people you like, and then the lot of you would work together to defeat whatever enemies you run into. All of it's just frilly window dressing on top of the fun pseudo-arcade X-Wing gameplay.
Like I said, I don't want Lucasarts to do these. They have no imagination, and could never pull off anything like what I've described. Case in point, TFU I and II, and the upcoming Star Wars 1313.
