I would love a sequel to Odin Sphere. Showing how the surviving characters rebuild the world. Or possibly a prequel showing how everything went to hell before the events of the game.

Sigh... now I want to play Odin Sphere for the 12th time.

Yeah there was that Ghost game.. but its not the same as being a line infantryman against the Zerg. They were the guys that took the blunt force of the hoard. You can play as say, one of the colonial Marines whom fought with Emperor Mengsk and the Sons of Korhal when he decided to sacrifice Tarsonis --- and start from there, being a survivor and joining up with the rebellion ect. Great and richly laid story for a good FPS game.

Why the fuck is there not a Captain Falcon action beat em up?
Hell man, even just another normal game with Captain Falcon you know?

OT: I think we need a Harvey Birdman attorney at law game along the lines of Phoenix Wright... So like a stick of truth truth, birdman, ace attorney mash up.
Funny you should mention Harvery Birdman, there actually was a game on the Wii that did actually play like an Ace Attorney game http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harvey_Birdman:_Attorney_at_Law_(video_game) . From what I heard it was pretty good, I never watched the show myself but I heard that they used animation from the show in the game and got the cast also.

I've also always wanted more games set in Australia. Seriously, the place is ripe for some scary horror business, or post apocalyptic etc

Perhaps an urban fantasy that takes elements from the aboriginal mythology, that would be awesome.

I want a Berserk game... made by From Software. I think the Two Best Friends brought this up in a play through, and it's true. They're the only company I know of that could really nail the feel of the series, and with the original writer on board it would likely become my favorite game.

Only problem with the Bezerk game is its twisted ass ending unless we're going by the Manga... then its not even done yet I don't think.

Ha! Mace Griffon: Bounty Hunter! -- I remember that game. I don't think I got a chance to beat it either but I did get far in it. That was an awsome shooter all be it a bit iffy. Loved the concept though and how you had to get out of the cockpit and off the ship to do missions.

Dunno why I get a little excited when I see these types of threads, as they always are flawed in either one of two senses:

A) Continuation of a franchise that belongs to a corperate entity, or

B) Is way too stupidly expensive for a small indie studio to undertake.

Ehh, got my own idea's anyway. Insert something mean spirited about the customers investment in established franchises here.

I'm desperate for some sort of multiplayer 'survival-horror-ish' game set on a spaceship. Sessions of say, 40 mins, everyone is secretly allocated objectives and a role at the start of the game.
The majority receive variations on 'crew member' (e.g. ships doctor, navigations, engineer) and their objective is simply to survive getting home (on a timer). As time goes on issues with the ship arrive which have to be solved with teamwork - reroute power, fix things, change course etc.

One or more persons MAY be allocated various nasty roles. You could get the 'not at all Weyland-Yutani android' with some unpleasant motive, a fugitive who wants to take control of the ship, various aliens (I'd love a 'The Thing' type that can kill then replicate people) etc. On the other hand you might get nothing at all, and the real challenge is just getting people to work together at beating the game without murdering each other in fear.

The mind-games we could play people, it could be so beautiful.

You know that Guns of Icarus game? Basically that but with a huge rpg open world like Archeage. That would pretty much be perfect for me. Although I would like greater customisation of the ships and stuff though.

For the love of God I really just want a highly polished big budget STALKER 2. It will be open world similar to Elder Scrolls but not as big with a lot of mutant variety and some special ones that come out only at night. And please make the nights pitch black dark so the only light is coming from your flashlight. With a real creepy and horrifying atmosphere, where you cant always just shoot but a lost of times your going to have to sneak past big mutants or groups of enemies. Gameplay must be really tight, all humans should be able to die in 1-3 shots and you as well. Finally there has to be a survival mode where you have to eat, sleep, and drink to survive and getting attacked by certain mutants will make you contract deadly diseases.

Another game I want is an elder scrolls game set in black marsh and it should have a similar atmosphere to STALKER and Morrowind, But with really good, and visceral melee combat. They should just take Dark Messiah might and magic's combat system and polish it up and refine. They should also have a lot of side quests that's interesting and unique like the ones in Oblivion. The land space should be alien and weird like Morrowind, and a combat system like Dark Messiah. No that's a game I really want to play.

But alas I know not one of these games will ever get made because STALKER is dead, and if the next Elder Scrolls is set in Black marsh I know the the atmosphere wouldn't be as creepy nor will the combat system be as good as i want it, Because the casual crowd of Skyrim wouldn't like. But maybe Bethesda will prove me wrong but I highly doubt it.

I can think of a number of these, first and foremost among them:

- MegaMan Legends 3, Get MegaMan Off The Goddamn Moon

- A true Breath of Fire sequel, not some shitty ass mobile game

- A Castlevania game set after the events of Symphony of the Night, starring Alucard

- A fighting game that features Asura and Yasha from Asura's Wrath

- A crossover game featuring Dante and Alucard as they battle every manner of undead and demon, ending with Dracula himself

And for this, Capcom must die (preferably quite horribly) so that these games actually have a glimmer of fucking hope of being made.
If Capcom dies, the these franchises will get rebooted if they are lucky enough to find a good new house

You essentially just described The Mighty Quest For Epic Loot. It's free-to-play on Steam right now. It does have DLC packs as well.
Thanks for the suggestion but after looking it up a bit, it has the Dungeon Keeper mobile to it. The freemium currency and the permanently locked up stuff annoy me and judging it based on the Total Busquit or however he's named WTF video, I see a lot of pay2win in the game.
Well... Just play Dungeon Keeper 2 until War for the Overworld is released, it's the closest I can think.

The game I want would probably be an update or sequel to Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. One with either better combat mechanics or the ability to get through all sections using entirely stealth or dialogue choices.

i'd love a sequel to Discworld Noir. Also I would love a game where the player was just an everyday guy who has his life ruined by the hero of a story, totally by accident. It could be a telltale style game, where player can go out seeking revenge or try to get on with life

Good games. /thread

OT:
God Hand 2. Change the canon, change the story, change ANYTHING but the combat, I don't caaaaaare. Just please let me have a game that lets you customize your moveset, be hard as diamonds, and not be Remember Me.

Speaking of diamonds being unbreakable, a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure game made by Platinum. It'd be so likely if copyright wasn't so harsh here in the west.
Thank you Prince, for ruining the localization of Vento Aureo.

And a 3rd person Predator game, where you hunt down species of different shapes and sizes with all their badass gadgets and gizmos.
... preferably made by Platinum Games.

Dishonored 2: The game hinted at so much other cool stuff in the world they established, they just need to explore more of it.

X-Com 2: I just loved this game so much that I want to see it continue, that's really the only reason.

Half-Life 3: Duh.

How about releasing all the Fatal Frame games for the WiiU? Now, in this case, we can use the screen-controller as a replacement for the Obscura camera view mode, and can only view the ghosts through the screen-controller.

Here's another... Blizzard should make their own multiplayer Monster Hunter rip-off using Titan/Overwatch assets. You're welcome Blizzard.
