Just finishing a campaign/story mode? Xenogears. And I mean that as in doing minimal sidequests (growing up Emeralda takes like, five minutes). 80 hours, most of which was story time. And just think, that game could have been longer...

Pokemon Ruby though, I spent 400+ hours in that game. 15 of which was spent by me chasing Latios.

I thought about listing Final Fantasy XI, but any MMO pretty much wins by default.

Put in about 60 hours into FFIX. Had everything, gold chocobo, all posting done, all the Stelazio coins, all the coffees, most the cards, most the summons, got to disc four and the memory card corrupted. Never bothered to do all that again, and just watched my brother clear the ending instead.

Probably put in about 100 hours into Pokémon Gold, and still didn't finish the Pokédex.

But then there are many games where I've just spent loads of time not really doing anything closer to finishing the game, and have just arsed around for the fun of it. Any game where there just a non-story/career/campaign based ability to play (such as GTA, Burnout, Tony Hawk's, etc) tends to get a lot of time based on my ability to just goof around rather than actively trying to finish.

Oblivion all the way. OVer 1000 hours of playtime and still I've never beaten the thieves guild or te story missions. Also, the pokemon games. And after reading this thread I realized that not being a WoW player is the best social move I've ever made.

TF2

24 hours over the past two weeks. Is there a way to find TOTAL playtime?

That or The Sims series overall

World of Warcraft. 1000+ hours.

And Team Fortress 2, of course. Unfortunately I don't know exactly how many hours I've spent playing that game, but it's a lot.

I see people flexing hours on console games but I bet they're the kind of people who rage at WoW players for being addicted (NB: I don't play WoW).

I spent around 70 hours on FFX. Not much by the standards presented here though :(

800 hours on Pokémon Silver and nearly 400 hours on my old Pokémon Diamond save, but wiped it to start a new game. This is what 5 hour breaks at college drove me to.
