Newest Prince of Persia is not bad. It's not bad and not good. Just a perfect 5/10 imo, because the movie left me with no feelings about it AT ALL.
BTW I just thought of movies turned into games... And dang we need a remake (same story new graphics) of Blade Runner that game was so awesome but my discs are scratched and modern monitors don't like this game very much.

While I didn't really like all the canon discontinuity (minus Odd One Out, of course) and the somewhat excessive artistic license taken (ODSTs with Anime Hair), it was overall not that bad. Origins was particularly nice.
The Package and The Duel were pretty cringe-worthy, though.

I remember liking "Final Fantasy: Spirits within" when I saw it, but that movie had nothing to do with Final Fantasy whatsoever.
It had the best cast I've seen for any game movie so far. Steve Buscemi alone can make anything awesome.
Also, Mortal Kombat. It was campy enough to be good, and it stayed very true to the arcade game... except for the gore.

Many didn't suck, like Max Payne, Hitman, Silent Hill, Prince of Persia, etc.
But the only one that was genuinely GOOD, even GREAT in my opinion, was Advent Children.
Spirits Within was also a good movie, but calling it a Final Fantasy movie is like calling Avatar a Counter-Strike movie.

You're going to have to expand on that. I thought it was commonly accepted that A. The DOOM movie is a bland, cookie cutter The Rock vehicle that has little redeeming features, and is mediocre at its very best, and that B. the DOOM games are probably the single most influential FPS games of all time. You're now saying that games that were outstanding for their time and has been extremely important in the history of video games are inferior to a really embarassing action flick? Personally, I find Prince of Persia to be a fairly good feature film, and the best film of a video game in history. Not that it's a good film, but it's not bad, which is certainly a record. Aside from Prince of Persia, the first Mortal Kombat movie had a certain charm, I suppose.
I thought the Doom movie was pretty good. Also, all the Resident Evil movies so far, although that might just be because Milla Jovovich is in them...
I've seen the whole thing and it was delightfully camp and tongue in cheek. The silliness, the lame jokes, the cringe-worthy dialogue, awful acting, dumbass plot contribute to the fact that it's good in the sense of it's that bad. Arizona Dreaming, that film is just straight up bad and unwatchable, super mario bros, it's not trying to be Citizen Kane and with the right mindset you can lose yourself in the campiness of it all.Konrad Curze said:
