certain games will always be good ex Mario halo and cod but certain games should be allowed to go peacefully and not beaten like dead horse ex sonic I would like to hear your thoughts and examples

To continue, mirrors edge was very good in the game play style, and if a story could be made up to continue it i would certainly buy it.

Coming from a gentleman who enjoys playing Halo, it will not always be good, it has been on the steady decline since halo 2 to be honest.

OT: Game series that will never get old - Well most FPS's will never get old, possibly Assassin's Creed if they bring in prequels with other subjects and new ancestors

I sort of agree with you there. I like the Skate series but they need to stop after the third one, unless they can totally reinvent the series but that doesn't seem likely.

OT: I'd say Halo needs to die. I enjoy the games and the series but they should be allowed to put it to rest after Reach is released. Let it go out with a bang, not a whimper.
And games that will never die. I think Final Fantasy games will continue for a while yet which is no bad thing for me.

I played soulblade once on the PSX it was a while after i started soul calibur 2 though fun games my soul calibur 3 is crapping on my though...

I have been playing through the orange box because my friends insisted I couldn't judge the game based upon a few hours of play,(Just got past that little antlion defense game in episode 2) and I can safely say that it is a remarkably average game, and does not deserve the amounts of money and praise it receives.
