Games that would make crappy movies

I would have to say Pacman. The only actor capable of sucking that many balls is Nicolas Cage, and I believe he's fully booked right now.

It comes back to what Moviebob once said about Halo. To make a Halo movie good, they would have to change it so dramatically that the fans of Halo would hate it.

Or you know... Make it about the expanded universe. Hell, the book: The Fall of Reach done in maybe a 2 part film could be REALLY good. Really any of the Halo books aside from: The Flood could make a movie.

I would love to see a Contact Harvest movie.

I came in here to say Portal, but then I thought about it a little. We've already gotten a few really good shorts based on the game.

I think if an indie studio got the rights to a Portal movie, it could be great. The problem would be when a "brand name" studio made the movie. You just know they'd add unnecessary characters and fluff that it just wouldn't need.

League of Legends. It's a fantastic game, don't get me wrong, and I play it all the time. But the lore around the characters is just ridiculous. And it's always just a few sentences at the end of their lore that tell us "...and then they joined the League of Legends" for no extended or elaborated reason. And the character mix would be just too goofy to be taken seriously.

Karthus: Once fell in a puddle, then joined the LoL.
Malphite: Got summoned by people in Runeterra, then joined the LoL.
Annie: Prodigal fire caster, then joined the LoL.
Twitch: Rat dude with a crossbow, joins the LoL.
