Sonic and the secret rings
Eledees

Both bought at the same time, I can remember thinking "These new games will be awesome, Nintendo magazine said so!"

Oh how wrong I was....

Sun Age
Elite forces: WWII Normandy
Rayman 2 (it came free with a magazine, kay?)
Spellforce: The order of dawn (the only game I own with a chick on the box cover)
Space Unlimited collection, which I bought recently, includes two good games and two terrible ones (good- Gal Civ II, Sins of a solar empire. Bad- Darkstar one, Space assault)

Yes, I've made some mistakes. But occasionally, experimenting results in something good.Prey, SimCopter (it was good, really) and Mount & Blade were all games bought in the same "spur of the moment" feeling as those bad ones.

Lost Via Domus. To be fair to me, I've borrowed it from my brother and only play it since I'm a fan of Lost.
I bought it because I'm a fan. It's a game JUST for fans, not a game for gamers, which was a bit of a let down.

And I'm extremely ashamed to say I own Legendary.
And Dynasty Warriors: Gundam [Dynasty Warriors has always been cool in my eyes, I only bought the Gundam version cause robots are pretty cool, I don't follow Gundam so therefore had no idea wtf was going on. That, and the game is shite]

There were a lot of horrible games I bought for the PS1 when I was too young to know that reviews existed to tell you what was crap. Now they all sit in my basement gathering dust.

Nope, I'm glad I only ever bought games that I thought would be awesome.
And was I damn right. I have never bought a single bad game.

My original copy of Yellow version.
o_O I hope you're kidding.

Yellow was a remnant of the times when pokemon were designed like realistic animals and the story didn't completely cast you into the role of a whiny little *****. I mean, these days we get pokemon looking like the game designers were drawing inspiration from an acid trip in a Toys R Us.

I got my copy of that, like, the day it was released and was essentially required to murder my best friend with my bare hands for it.

Rocoloco. One day a few classmates found out I had that game right after I told them Tekken DR was my only PSP game, the shame was over 9000. Granted, I got the game second hand when I bought the PSP off a friend and I could never stand to play it for longer than 10 minutes. But still...

Metal Gear Acid for the PSP.

I thought that a Metal Gear game would be good, but this one sucks. It's based completely on luck so all forms of tactical stealth action are thrown out of the window by the retard game design. In the game you have like a deck of cards where every card is an ability. There are only a few at your disposal at any given time and when you use one card, you get another random card from the deck. Even moving requires you to sacrifice cards. So you end up using e.g. shooting cards to reach your enemy and when you finally do, you only have some totally useless cards left.

Maybe it's because I'm 29 years old and I've felt a woman's touch, but I never got the Pokemon games. They're about as appealing to me as the Bratz games my 11-yr-old cousin has on her DS.

Alone in the Dark. (The buggy new one.)
It looked good on the box is all I can say in my defence.
We were all persuaded by the box, my friend. Any sane person would have been.

OT: I owned Boogie for a short while.
Yeah... Boogie.

A shameless money-plugging game spin-off using cards for everything... Have I mentioned that ONLY the first kingdom Hearts was even slightly decent? *cough* *cough*

If so- I am also guilty...
Oh god I'm guilty too. HATE having a sister who can't play the games she gets..and I had to play through it THREE times for her

Scene it LCA (sister's again but I hate having that in my played games list)
Digimon World (you know the one where you had to clean up their poop...no joke)

Mall Tycoon, Sonic R and other budget PC titles I bought with my pocket money when I was 9. Oh, and every Wii game I've ever bought apart from Brawl, Galaxy, Prime 3 and Twilight Princess. The Wii Zapper though...
