This. So much this. Supposedly the DS game was the actual follow up to the 2008 PoP story, but I want a proper conclusion in the same format as the previous game. I hate when a sequel shows up on a different platform, unless it is the natural progression of consoles (PS2 to PS3, for example).uguito-93 said:I know I might be one of the few people to say this, but I felt that ubisoft made a bad move returning to the Sands of Time universe instead of making a proper sequel to the 2008 PoP reboot. Most people will say that they hated the new dudebro prince, or the simplified combat. Honestly, I loved the game. I found the new main character endearing, even if it was only because he would be the kind of person I would hang out with in real life, the scenery was awe inspiring, and after I learned to treat the combat more like a rhythm game I found it satisfying.
As far as recent games go (and I'm willing to bet we will get one) a sequel to Dishonored would be great. Prefer not to play as Corvo again though as I feel the game wrapped up his story effectively. Maybe progress through a generation or two and then have a new protagonist.
And looking back in the vaults of my games, I would like a sequel to Oni (PS2). Sure, it was a little clunky, but for it's time I think it did a good job of mixing melee combat and gunplay in a world that felt very Ghost in the Shell. Also a proper sequel to Bushido Blade (PS1). BB2 was okay, but somehow not nearly as fun as the original.
