Dynasty Warriors. Part of me knows it sucks as I play it, but then I realise I'm playing as Cao Cao and on 5000 kill streak, and all is right with the world.
Also, Kessen. I love Kessen. It has a special place in my heart as the first PS2 game I ever owned. Plus, I'm a complete history nerd, so it was neat to learn something. I know it was slow-paced, but that never bothered me; I like strategy games, and there was enough variety and content to keep it interesting. Plus, the sheer difficulty of the hardest setting actually made me feel accomplished when I beat it.
