Games that you lost.

my copies of r-type delta and r-type final. actually i didnt lose them, rather my cousin did. lent him a few games many years ago just after he got his ps2. when i finally went to get them back 3 were missing (suprisingly all r-type games), and the only one i found was r-types, which was under a 2x4 that was holding his bed up.

huge r-type fan, thankfully delta came out over psn but i still need to find another copy of final.

Holy shit, I loved the r-type series!! Do you know Einhänder [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Einh%C3%A4nder]? Both of them have to be my favorite side-scrolling shooters. And they're lost because of my older brother, who can't take care of any of this things properly!! ARGH!!

Airfix dogfighter. its the best flying game ever made, and if you disagree you have either never played it or hate life. my copy was lost to the sands of some guy borrowing it....

Drangon warrior monsters for gameboy it was like pokemon but better. 3 monsters at a time man! oh well. thank goodness for ROMS

Years ago, after moving out of the house, I made the mistake of letting my sister borrow my PS1. I told her not to let it leave her house. So of course, she brings it to a friend's place, and leaves it there. Some time later I ask for it back, and My Gran Turismo II is missing, as are 3 of the 4 discs to Final Fantasy VIII, and one of my controllers. I never saw them again. It still burns me up.

Also, I was missing the case and two discs for Final Fantasy VII. I was hunting through boxes from when Stef and I moved recently, and lo and behold, there were the missing discs and the case! In good shape too. I was so happy.

EDIT: There was also the time when my mother lent out my NES along with all my games, and it was never heard from again.

Same thing happened with my Mario Paint. I was told that the person that it was lent to had given it back, but I call bullshit to this day, as their whole family were scam artists.

yeah, never played it much (only rented it) but it was pretty good, need to hunt down a copy. though honestly id have to say the best side scrolling shooters came out of treasure; radiant silvergun, ikaruga and gradius 5. i love that genre to death, everyting from the 194X games and raiden, defender, etc.

god i wish developers would make new games in this genre.

I lent my cousin Pokemon Gold when I was younger. He took it to school and lost it. He bought me a new one but when I started it up and didn't see the continue option...

I died a little that day.



I also lost Final Fantasy 8.

Well...not so much lost as much as smashed with a hammer (long story).

lost my copy of FF: tactics Advance shortly after doing every last quest. Fable: lost chapters, FFX and FFX-2 and warcraft3/warcraft3 frozen throne were all stolen from me by various backstabbers.

Bridge commander, I modded the hell out of my game and added dozens of new ships and mods until it was almost a separate game of its own right. But then the disc ended up being to badly scratched to work anymore and I had to throw it away. Then of course I found out they dont make that game anymore.
