When I was a kid, I was afraid to go down a hallway in The Fifth Element game for PS1. There was nothing particularly frightening about it as far as I remember, but I was just afraid to go forward because I thought there might be bad guys at the end... I did end up gathering the courage, though (nothing was there; it turned out that it was the end of the level).

Since that, no game has been able to frighten me. I really wish I could remember why I was so afraid of that hallway, though. It's not like The Fifth Element was a horror game to begin with.

I never used to play Soul Blade because I was afraid of Voldo.
I was about 8 at the time. Nightmare Creatures also freaked me the heck out!

personally i don't actually like beating games outside of the mario series. and even then there are some i don't like to beat. Mainly because the sense of closure it gives. I'd rather just imagine how it happened. It also saved me from the heartbreak of the Journey of Dreams "True Ending" obtained by A ranking every mission. Until i looked it up on youtube and found out that
he DIES!
I cried for weeks over him. That's also what i would have done at the end of SA2B if i hadn't played heroes before seeing the ending.

i don't get why people hate it as much as they do. Okay so the treasure hunting sections are pretty bad and rouge seems to be unlikable to most people. I've seen worse characters, but i can dig it. The levels with sonic and shadow were great. And Shadow was a good anti hero, until the "canon" shadow the hedgehog bullshit of him losing his memories and being rewritten as a character that exists only to exist. Just like the role Knuckles played in shadow the hedgehog.

Sega, if you read this, give Shadow back his memories and put him back like he was and maybe i won't burn your house down D:<

System Shock 2. If I let myself get immersed, it freaks me out way to much. If I turn off my brain and play it like any random FPS I can't enjoy it. Never had that problem since though.

I'm worried that Silent Hill 2 is going to reach that status. *shudders, then straightens up* But I'm going to do it sometime!...maybe...

Ok people may laugh at this but Dead Space - I usually whack it on when I'm bored at night and soon have to turn it off. I hate anything that looks kinda human but not. *goes and hides*

Also Silent Hill fucked me up, still love it thogh.
