Ico.

I just... got bored. I loved Shadow of the Collosus, but I just didn't find the world as interesting from the perspective of this kid, and the platforming/puzzles or whatever you'd consider it just made me walk away. I can understand why other people like it, but it ain't fo' me.

All the GTA games past 1 & 2 (Overhead ftw?)
Halo series
Gears of War series
Fable series
Oblivion
Call of Duty series
The Sims

All of them simply because they weren't fun, at all. (Especially Sims, I hate that one the most, the others are equal in my loathing).

Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy.

Metal Gear Solid fails in both the shooting and stealth departments. The controls are clunky, at best.
And the story, well it just makes no sense, or what little sense it does manage to make is so stupid that I don't even care....at all.

Final Fantasy is just boring. I don't like anime. I don't like JRPGs. I don't like standing
in a line taking turns whacking each other in the head. Nothing good in this game.

GTA 3/4 both games i thought were pretty crap tbh, sandbox is fun for abit but everything else was just dull.
The Sims and anything to do with it - I really can never see why anyone would want to play a game that simulates life, if i wanted to play life i'd just go outside myself.
Call of Duty - The amount of people who've said its so 'realistic' need to go plant there heads in the ground, and apart from the annoying fanboy love for the CoD series they're just bad shooter games that cant be bothered to invent a story so nick it from history.

By far the Halo series. Before all you fanboys who still live in their mother's basements freak out, I don't care how much you flame me, I hate Halo. The story is repetitive and stretched out, the twists are insignificant. I didn't find it that enthralling of a game. Btw, if any of you fanboys bring up the point that Halo 2 was "innovative", let me bring this up, just because you added a twat to a dead pig doesn't make it the greatest invention known to man. Second choice is Assassin's Creed. That game was pretty piss poor, and by piss poor I mean boring. It's too repetitive. That game made me realize that if assassins were obnoxious too-cool-for-school arrogant cliche characters then they really aren't those silent respected killers that I assumed them to be.
Where as the Halo Series scored over a 9.5 each on IGN, I would give it a 3.2, just cause I liked pissing off the Arbiter. Assassin's Creed got a 7.7, which is being way to generous for a game that has you repeat its 15 minutes of gameplay for a couple days.
In contrast I loved the game Chromehounds, so what if mech concepts have been used alot. Chromehounds looked cool and actually gave you the experience of blowing other robots up. The fact that it got a 6.9 (albeit a funny number) is a diservice. IGN... Shame on you.
EDIT: Changed my wording to make it make more sense. I appologise for my poor wording as it's late at night and I need some coffee.
Wow, that's a lot of criticism and defence against people criticizing you for a shoddy game (by your opinion).
I actually played just Halo and half of Halo 2 (still have to finish it). And I liked it. When I played the first Halo, I never even knew it was that hyped. I just liked it. I liked the direction it took, the gameplay, the story, the music and the overall feeling. It wasn't ALL THAT good like people hype it to be, but it by far wasn't bad.

Though interestingly, I like almost all hyped games. I find myself an excuse to like a game, because I think the more stuff that can bring joy to me, the better.

The entire FPS and MMORPG genres, including Halo, Half-Life/Counter-Strike/Orange Box, and WoW.

Civilization 3. Felt like a major step backwards for the series, which I flat-out didn't like.

Warcraft/Starcraft. I prefer STRATEGY games, not mouse-clicking contests involving looking up the prescribed build order on GameFAQs and racing to see who can do it the fastest. I love RTS games, but prefer those in the Age of Empires/Rise of Nations vein or the Total War series.

Sims 1. I LOVE Sims 2 to death (and have fattened EA's coffers by close to $300 considering the game and its expansion packs), but Sims 1 felt more like a prototype of a great idea---which may explain why Sims 2 was so good.

Ive never been a fan of the halo series. I remember playing halo for the first time after hearing loads of people raving on about it,only to find out how dull it was. I thnk that I was just spoilt by too many good fps's on pc.

Most modern (and some older) FPS games, i'm just not a fan of shooting games, except for Bioshock, for some reason i just love that game, must be the Steampunk nature of it all.

Star Wars games, most, if not all people i know LOVE Star Wars, and yeah i love the movies too, but the games, no i just can't get behind them, i mean i like to TFU, but even then the novelty wore off fast.

The GTA series, Gears of War, Unreal Tournament, sports games like Madden, most JRPGs (although I greatly enjoyed several of the Final Fantasy games and Chrono Trigger), Guitar Hero (Rock Band is a different story), most fighting games, many "retro" games (seriously, if you play GoldenEye today it's horrible).
