Games that you think should be made into a movie.

Team Fortress 2 movie would be good & fun. Give us a little insight on why red hates the blu so much, and why Heavy's gun is named Sasha.

I think the Dark Forces series would make good movies. In my humble opinion, they took the basics of the Doom game and made it far more interesting. Kyle Katarn is cool. It would be a way to explore the Star Wars universe from a darker, more mature level since Kyle is a deeper, more complex character than Luke was. They would need to get the writers of the games' stories in on it and keep the writers of the Star Wars prequels well away from it.

Zelda- Would be intersting if they did it well

Final Fantasy 6- Have to make it into a series but man would that be one hell of a movie

Gears of war

Halo- They COULD make a good movie out of it, but....personally I wouldn't want it if it was based off the games...the stories were very dull and lacking. Making a movie depicting the fall or reach and the events that lead up to halo 1 ALONG with Halo 1's story would work very well though.

Siphon Filter or spinter cell

Metroid- I did hear that they were considering making one but something happened and they scrapped it or postponed it indefinitely. But metroid would be a rather kick ass movie I'd have to say.

I would like them to make another Street Fighter movie that doesn't suck!

I love Metroid, but they would have to make up other characters if they were going to make a movie out of it!

Maybe Diablo or Starcraft, I like the games but meh!

Please no more Final Fantasy, the graphics are awesome but the acting makes me hate the characters. I don't mind the games though.

I suggest making a Monkey Island movie. The second game was quite good for these purposes and had this nice time travelling bit even. I guess Sam&Max is a promising candidate as well.

OK I'm probably one of the few Halo fans that has gone far enough to research this. There is in fact going to be a HALO movie coming out in the next year. Imdb has the official information, which i discoverd PETER JACKSON is producing it! So far the news is negative, what with the delays and budget problems, but Jackson promises it will get made. BTW The movie involves the Halo 1 story, I personally hope they include a bit of "the fall of reach" since its my favourite.

Now for the unofficial rumors about the cast. Master Chief is not just getting a voice over, i've heard rumors about Russel Crowe. Ed Harris may be Captain Keys (sweet). I've also heard rumors of Jessica Alba and Samuel L Jackson. like i said these are just rumors so don't get your hopes up!

BTW The so called "Halo Movie Trailer" on youtube is just a Halo 3 trailer, only the giddy should fall for that.

Halo movie intends to cover fall of reach and inception of spartans, sequel to cover events of Halo 1 and 2, 3rd to cover ass end of 2 and 3

Chief is not the main character (no face) and it will focus on marines... and failing driving tests...

A Half Life movie, about the 'Seven Hour War" would be great! I really would want to see how the combine empire "PWNED" us With the right directing it would be epic.
