Kingdom Hearts 3. Either it's been cancelled or they're trying to pull a Valve.
Neither, the entire KH team is dedicated to Final Fantasy Versus XIII at the moment.

OT: For me, Six Days in Fallujah. As many here ninja'd, it would have been an important mark in the modern warfare genre and really shown the effects that this kind of combat has on a person, mentally and physically. It would have paid many respects to the lives of people that were lost at that battle. Hopefully someday, those soldiers stories could be told.

Loose Cannon

Now sadly obviously made redundant because some years after it was cancelled (in 2001 or sth) GTA3 and later Vice City came out and did pretty much what that game promised (in 1999), only with Gangsters. Oh well.

Starcraft:Ghost

I bet I can think of more...

What anyone can find interesting in 6 days of fallujah is alas beyond me.

Disaster Report 4, I played the previous games and had quite a bit of fun with them.

Other then that I can't think of any games that have been canceled that I wish weren't canceled

The other three Xenosaga games. The story was confusing enough, but was slowly making sense. Then half of it got cut and just the vital parts were shoved into the third game. What a mess. Ouch.

Star Fox 2 for the SNES. It was for all intents and purposes finished, but Nintendo decided to scrap it because they didn't want its sales to impact Star Fox 64, which was under development at the time. It's a real shame, because the game improved on the original in many ways, including full 360-degree flight and the ability to transform the Arwing into a walking mech for planet-side missions. I'm sure Star Fox 2 would have sold very well had they decided to green-light it.

It is possible to actually play the game in its essentially finished form, but for legal reasons I'm not going to say where you can get it.

Legacy of Kain: the Dark Prophecy
because it would be the the goddamned finale of my favorite series (which was also comprised almost entirely of Platinum Hits)

Does anybody remember the name of the MMO that the Dark Age of Camelot team, Mythic, was working on way back in the day? It was a sci-fi MMO with a 'What if the Roman empire never fell?' theme... I would've liked to have seen how that turned out.
I assume they cancelled it to shift focus onto Warhammer Online, when they joined up with EA...and well... RIP Mythic.

Why are people saying six days in fallujah? It's not cancelled. The devs even said that there was "renewed interest" in it during an interview about Breach.

Anywho. Metroid Dread. For the simple reason that it could not have been as bad as Other M.

Six Days in Fallujah. Okay, yeah, technically it wasn't cancelled, it just lost most of it's backing, and even though I've heard rumors that it might still come out, my take has been that the situation looks pretty grim, especially since Atomic laid off most of their staff. Still, what I saw of that game made me think that it would be a really incredibly powerful piece. I felt like maybe it would make it easier to sympathize with what the guys over in Iraq are going through if I played it, that it would bring a sense of depth and immediacy to a story that, for the most part, is half way around the world from me, so I just let it be and don't pay attention.

Six Days struck me as being a serious and important game, one which, if accepted, would bring a lot of legitimacy to the medium by demonstrating how powerfully it can be used to show people what modern war is like. I really wanted to play it, and understand more than I do now, and it I really wish it had come out.
This, along with Edge of Twilight. God, I seriously wanted these two games to come out.

Fear Effect 3!

That game was almost finished, resolved the series and looked awesome! Reading about the game had me drooling and I wish that game came to life.

Gah! I was so stoked about Edge of Twilight when I first heard about it, too!

So it seems I have been ninja'd on both counts.

6 Days in Fallujah and Edge of Twilight.

What!? No one said Pirates of the Carribiean: Armada of the Damned yet!?
Isn't that still coming out, or is it a different one?

F-Zero Expansion for N64DD.

Half Life 2: Episode 3. (It's coming out, right? RIGHT?)
