brawl.

I tried..i really tried....but the watered down gameplay, all the massive amounts of gamebreakng glitches and the horrible character balance just took its toll, its like nintendo took everything that made melee an amazing game and threw it all away.

Persona 3 and 4.

My reason is odd...As I actually like the mechanics and story.

But the setting irks me for some reason.

I'd never call them bad games, but I can't stop feeling like some kinda weeaboo when I play them, due to the modern Japanese setting and general focus on Japanese culture. If they had a Persona set pretty much anywhere else, I'd probably like it enough to finish it.

KOTOR 2, this is probably more damming of me but i just found it's opening so so very slow and boring. and then I got stuck when he went down to the first planet, the one with the bio-dome troubles. I hear it's really great, so I am quite saddened but that.

I really REALLY tried to like Skyrim. But unfortunately, I first started playing on the PS3. So, 45 hours in, my game would load, if I was lucky, and about 15 minutes later the game would freeze and I would be forced to power down my system and start over. So I got the 360 version. But I just couldn't do it again. Now I have Kingdoms of Amalur and my fantasy RPG need has been satisfied. That game is just pure awesome.

Another one is Chrono Trigger. I friggin LOVE JRPG's and missed this when it first came out, but I've tried to get into it on the DS, Wii's virtual console, and now the PSone Classics re-release of it, but the game just doesn't grab me. *Sigh*

Fable. I just don't like games where a specific goal is not set from the get-go. I can't just be told, "Go fuck around for a bit, maybe you'll find something later, but it really doesn't matter." Also, when a game is driven by "BLANK SLATE PROTAGONIST" At least in Fallout I felt like I was more-or-less playing myself. It doesn't work when I see my guy all the time.

Also, if someone called me "Chicken Chaser" one more time I'd break their neck.

And Battlefield: BC2.

I tried to play it, I did. I don't know what it was, but the gun mechanics felt weak and lacked the same "kick" that MW2's guns had. And I'm not a CoD fanboy, I find both series to have equally frustrating multiplayer and equally generic campaigns.
