Half-Life 2: Episode 3.

Seriously, I'm pretty confident that Episode 3 will never come out, because I'm beginning to think they'll just make Half-Life 3 instead.
They are already developing Half Life 2: Episode 3 I hear.
And after that they have a Half Life 3 planned too! :D
Nice ._. I wonder what the heck they could do in Half Life 3 though.

They've been working on Episode 3 for a while now, they said the time between release would be longer than that between HL2 and Episode one, and Episode one to 2. My guess is that by Christmas, we'll at least have a trailer.

Anyway... Spyro the Dragon. The very first game, but re-done in modern graphics x3. I'd love it, but I can't see it happening any time soon.

Contradiction much?
Oh.... Yeah... Well, still it'd be more realistic than L4D which is really not all that great IMO.
Please stop pretending you're trolls just cus you have a high postcount.
Wait, how am I the troll here?
It was a troll trap and you passed because people liked your post. Sorry bout that, I'm a beginner so I'm useing unusual methods for finding trolls since the previous invasion. Soushi isn't taking it serious so I'm not so sure but I'm still new at troll searching so apologies to Soushi as well.

A grand MMO about war with a global map, clear army ranks, different factions and different types of gameplay for pilots, soldiers, snipers, generals etc. etc.
Developed in collaboration by IW, Paradox, DICE, Relic, Ubisoft / IO Interactive, Maddox Games.
Insane, isn't it?
You could try something like battleground Europe. MMO, Ranks, different gameplay for planes(fighters, bombers and the difference between planes is big too), Tanks, Soldiers, and Yes there are generals who decide what is going to be attacked or defended next.

But sadly it is not developed by IW, Paradox, DICE, Relic, Ubisoft / IO Interactive, and Maddox Games

Wowie, that actually looks a lot like what I was thinking about.
But the graphics... Oh, the graphics.
Is it totally MMO? Like the whole world exists at the same time and battles matter and affect the situation?
Ya, there are axis (which is just Germany at the moment), and the allies (France and Britain), but U.S. and Italy are in the works. There is one big map which every town is takeable, supply lines, supplies (vehicles and weapons), factories which bombers love as targets (which produce certain weapons/vehicles based on the time period in the game), there is a high command which are made up of actual players who decide what objectives need to taken. The gameplay is about as opposite to mw2 as I can think, and the graphics, well I've grown up playing old games so it doesn't bother me. I subscribe on and off but I think its about time I play it again.

Opposite to MW2. Daamn, I love that game.
Doesn't mean I won't like that one.
Although the lack of Russia bothers me.
Monthly fee?
Because this totally sounds awesome.

Me personally, I'd like to see a full on Sonic the Hedgehog 4. Full on 2D platforming goodness. Hey, they did it with Mega Man 10, why not Sonic? Ditch the whole 3D environments go back to what made Sonic popular. Anyone whos worth their weight in game controllers, knows that Sonic 1, 2, and 3 on the Genesis were the (partly) whole reason the Genesis sold so well.
But I'm ranting again.
Any other ideas?
Project Needlemouse? How could you not know of this game? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Needlemouse
Lol. I guess i dont pay as much attention as I should.

A good game with Boba Fett as the protagonist
Do you know of Star Wars: Bounty Hunter?
I know it's based on Jango, but I wouldn't imagine they'd be too different apart from story/setting
I have Bounty Hunter, but what I mean is, there will never be a game that properly evokes the feeling of being a bounty hunter as badass as Boba. Hell, Samus is a bounty hunter, but the only game where you actually fill that role (Prime: Hunters) is awful.

Ya, there is a monthly fee. You could sign up for the free-trial? you get 14 days I think. All that I have to say about it, is that alot of patience is required (at times) and I wouldn't expect to get a kill for at least an hour (When you don't know what to do yet, once you know where to go and what to attack it gets more actiony). Although getting one is definitely more rewarding.

Freespace 3. Or any real accessible but not dumbed down space sim. Wing Commander 6 would be an acceptable alternative, but FS3 is choice #1.

A(nother) Crimson Skies sequel, or any other game in that setting. Or even a simple remake of the original with some additions and modern graphics/physics.

Something along the lines of Die By The Sword - actual motion-based melee combat. might even make the whole motion control fad worthwhile.

Van Buren, for sure.

To those wanting Escape Velocity: have you tried the Space Rangers games? Very similar style, and high quality. the second goes for 10 bucks on Amazon at this point.

I'll agree it was lame that Sins lacked any real narrative, but I loved the gameplay. (though it took damn near forever to finish a good-sized game) But just think how epic Homeworld 3 would be with the series narrative and operating on, maybe not similar gameplay, but the scale of Sins.

A new Phantom Crash game- if you haven't played the original on the xbox do so right now, it's fan-dabey-dosey.
Yeah it was. I was addicted to that game for a while. That is, until someone stole the disk.

Yeah but really? You might call doom 3 a remake of doom, but it wasnt really. They took the concept and ran toward a big brown bumpmapped wall with it. The game had no life and i doubt very much that they are making doom 4.
Partially true, but consider the original. Technology limitations aside, it was basically just a run-and-gun shooter filled with monster closets. At least Doom 3 attempted something one might consider a narrative. So, one might think of Doom 3 as what ID would have made the original Doom had they had the engine technology of today. However, one thing that can't be refuted is the status of Doom 4. ID is officially working on it. Hell, they've made a point of saying so at just about every Quake-Con since Doom 3 came out.

I keep wondering why people continually say there's going to be a Half-Life 3. As far as I've heard, every time Valve is asked if there is going to be a Half-Life 3, they always respond with, "Nope. Episode 3 is it. It's the end of Gordon's story. We decided soon after Half-Life 2 that we'd break up Half-Life 3 into the three Half-Life 2 episodes." If they've said otherwise recently, someone please point me toward a site or article that quotes them as saying so. I'd love to see the series receive another full-release game on par with the first two games.

Morrowind remade with the quality of Oblivion or better. I love the plot but the graphics are less than OK by today's standards.

"It has been stated that Episode Three will be the final episode of the Half-Life 2 universe story arc, but not the end of the Half-Life franchise. However what happens next for the franchise is currently unknown" (Off of the Overwiki, but it's echoing several other things I'm finding on different game sites.)

Ok. I do remember hearing that. However, though there may be another Half-Life themed game after Ep. 3, I think it's safe to say there's a pretty good chance there'll never be a Half-Life 3. That's what I was getting at. Though I suppose until they give it an official moniker, there's not much else one could call it.

But...you don't NEED Sin's boring, stale, 2d combat. Homeworld's combat was fluid, fast paced, deep, and had all three dimensions...

Really, I'd rather have a remake of Homeworld, with the same story only told again with better graphics and with some game-play additions that could flesh out the experience and the plot...maybe add a campaign that could let you play as the Taiidani Rebellion, cause I always wanted to see what happened to them.

Well...I mean, I know what happened to them. They fought the Empire, got their asses kicked, then teamed up with the Khusan.

But, still...

Not a Sins fan as you may have noticed >_>

Halo: Sangheili Chronicles

A game based on the Arbiter and the Elites at various key points in the Covenant's history. This would be a great concept if you ask me but it would never get made.

A new Abe (Oddworld) game for the 360. Munch's Oddysee just didn't cut it for me, it changed too much! Just want an old PS1-style one with awesome graphics and a kooky storyline! IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?!?
