so you mean dark dawn? you know, the golden sun game that came out late last year?
Personally, I've always viewed Golden Sun and The Lost Age one game on two cartridges, which would make Dark Dawn Golden Sun 2. My rationale for this is that unlike any other multi-game story, Golden Sun did not have any kind of satisfying arc conclusion until the end of Lost Age so it might just as well have been one game shipped on two cartridges. I realize I may be the only one who views it this way but, oh well.

OT: One I forgot to mention earlier would be Red Dead 3. I liked Revolver and loved Redemption so I'd love to see another story set in this world. Just so long as it's not a direct sequel to Redemption (for obvious reasons).

A newly released big-brand title listed for $5.

I'm not going to pay $60 for any game.
Well not as extreme as $5 but I'm totally with you with not paying full price anymore.

That's why so many emerging IPs are dying because people literally can't afford to take chances anymore, oh well not much you can do I suppose.

A decent Battletech game that would take place on multiple planets with decent lance/company commands. Also where vehicles are more than just targets and with Mechs that don't always go critical when downed.
A new Berserk game would be badass.
More Star Wars games like Shadows of the Empire and Rogue Squadron.
And if possible a RPG set in the Dresden Files universe where you could join factions and pick a class.

Sequels?
Freedom Fighters 2
Another Red Faction game staring Parker
If they could somehow pull it off without doing something stupid and alienating the people with the good ending, I'd love to see inFamous 3 or at least another game with similar mechanics.

3d open world pokemon rpg.
This. although with a gameplay change I've wanted for a long time: instead of replacing old moves with new ones, moves that have been learned are simply switched from being active or inactive (still a 4 move limit, on how many can be active. Unless we change it even further and add a way for Pokemon to have more moves active, the higher level they are. Or even put a value on different moves so weak move cost less to activate)

Also, KINGDOM HEARTS 3!!!!!!!!!!!

(Tetsuya Nomura, why won't you finish/abandon FFXIII Versus, so you can make KHIII and take my money?)

A Bushido Blade remake for the common day would be one. Another would probably be Bloody Roar remakes (but... yeah.) Also, can we please go back to the Resident Evils of old when they were actually scary?

God Hand 2, and the end to the Viewtiful Joe trilogy, Rival Schools 3, I could really go on.

Warhammer 40k MMO (Yes, I know it's in production, but there have been many good games that have died 'in production').

Also, a modern remake of FASA's Shadowrun for the SNES and maybe a Wheel of Time RPG.

Something like oblivion; but VASTLY improved and with the best bits of Fallout thrown in just because you can't really improve on something that doesn't need improving much more. It should also include dragons and offer hundreds of non-repetitive gameplay should I chose to just screw the main quest. It should allow me to sabotage whole economies and even get a job in an industry; all the while I know I am someone unique in this world and half of the people don't even know it yet. I reckon such game should also include magic, sexism, discrimination (to make things gritty) and crimes just so I feel morally superior to all the discriminating ai around me. Also it needs dragons.

OHWAIT -.-

Sid Meier's Anything

Things that I won't actually see:

A Discworld MMO that mocks existing MMOs and fantasy tropes.

An RPG with a multi-axis alignment system that has an effect on the story arc of the game

A non FPS remake of Syndicate. I was a squad of people whose lives I am happy to throw away, missions that involve killing a scientist's mistress to keep him from getting distracted from the project I've given him, and of course, the persuadatron.

Master of Orion 3 (lets pretend that MOO3 never existed)
You know its funny, I know one of the programmers for that game (as well as the first two), and he also pretends it does not exist.

OT: Baldur's Gate 3. BG2 was my favorite game of all time and a 3rd game would never live up to it but I would still buy it in an instant.

Everything else I can wait up to two years for, if the price drops to <?20. Portal 2 was the only full-priced game I've bought since Doom 3.

A Mass Effect like Stargate game.

Or a fully destrutable Just Cause 3. With massive bombs. And the ability to actually destroy scenery a la Worms. Tunnel my way through a mountain and then drive me plane through it!

actually, you view it pretty much exactly the way i do. i just thought a majority of people didn't, and couldn't be bothered fleshing out my post with my viewpoint on the series at the time given i had to go out for dinner.

on second thoughts maybe i should have put more thought into the wording of what i did post.

upon further contemplation, i still haven't beaten dark dawn yet... (oh me, you're such a lazy bastard!)
