Or maybe some other giant Mech game that has a similar style. All they make anymore are Armored Core type stuff which I can't take seriously at all. I just can't stand games where these 100 ton robots can skate across the ground or flit across the sky. It doesn't feel like you're piloting a giant steel-death machine in those games.

and watch them just beat the crap out of each other. And you know they will to, because they're SPESS MARINES!!!!!

On a more serious note, I can't really think of any, as the ones I would buy are coming out. Halo 4 and Star Wars: The Old Republic are all I want for the time being.

And also a game where the winning move IS to play.

Wow! You mentioned Mech Commander! You have restored some of my faith in humanity!

Not to mention that my list would be the exact same as yours, just with (A real) Xcom tacked on!

Hell yeah I mentioned Mech Commander. Easily one of the most underrated RTS games ever. It took the concepts of turn-based, tactical squad strategy games and worked them beautifully into a full, 3D RTS environment. It's still in my top 5 favorite RTS games. Right up there with the likes of Homeworld, Starcraft, and Sins of a Solar Empire.

If someone came along and could do a faithful build of the series, modernizing where it needs to be modernized and retaining the best aspects of the originals, I'd buy several copies of the game on day one. Just so I could share the wealth with my friends.
