I second the votes for Final Fantasy VI and Summoner.
Summoner was awesome. And Kefka would be epic in a 3D VI.
Now to add something else in, I say there needs to be a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons for the DS. Let us keep the bird eye view, update the graphics, maybe squeeze the two games into one cartridge, perhaps add in some extra content and poof.. we have a game that will never happen, at least not until everyone's copies of the original games break. Sigh.

Given Square-Enix's new thing with remaking Final Fantasy titles for the DS, we'll probably see a remake of VI all 3D and cool before too long.-Seraph- post=9.71573.729948 said:

Tecmo's Deception, awesome game that focused on you pretty much being the bad guy. You lured people into your castle, tricked them into chasing you, and activated traps to kill them. You could also use the corpses of the people you killed to create monsters that would chase down other intruders, which was kinda cool at the time. Castle was pretty customizable in that you could make secret passages and pretty much anything else you wanted to. Remake would be nice, maybe give the character a sword attack or something so that you don't have to rely solely on traps, more enemies, more traps, add in the trap combo stuff from the later games. Just sounds good to me.
A remake of the SNES version of Shadowrun would also be nice. Make it full 3D, maybe first or third person. Add in more weapons, spells, cyberware, and other things.

Personally, I'd love to see an update of American McGee's Alice. Keep the story the same, enhance the gameplay, and update the graphics. I'd also like to see a remake of Final Fantasy Tactics, or at least a game that uses the same basic game mechanics that DOESN'T look like it was designed for something less advanced than a cell phone *cough*Song Summoner*cough*.
@TaboriHK - I can totally get behind a remake of Summoner. That game was awesome.
@milomalo - They already did remake Metal Gear Solid 1. They called it "The Twin Snakes" and released it on the Gamecube for some arbitrary reason.

I don't see why people scoff at me when I say I think Luigi's Mansion should be remade. The only problem with that is that it would be made for the Wii, and never for the 360, and since I'm a hardcore gamer my skin burns and immedietly becomes infected with a deadly parasite that can only be killed with a rare potion concocted from ingredients unknown to man...if I touch a Wii. Sucks, I liked Luigi's Mansion.
