Since I've played Pokemon White, I kept thinking back to when I first played Pokemon Red, my very first Pokemon game, portable game, and RPG in general. I have never beaten that game, (shocking I know) and I have this urge to play it again so I can beat it and lay my memories to rest. Unfortunately, I no longer have a physical copy of that game or my old Game Boy Color.

What about you guys? Has there ever been a game you have played, yet you have never beaten? Is that game still immediately accessible to you?

Planescape: Torment easily. I really liked the game, but continuing after two corrupted saves at around the same point in the game, around the same time too? No thanks, if I feel like it I might finish it during the summer.

Let's do this.
Overlord, Overlord 2, Farcry, Far Cry 2, GTA 3, GTA Vice City, Silent Hill 2, Trauma Team, Madworld, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, Hero's Over the Pacific, Metal Gear Solid, Dragon Age Origins(just the DLC), Elder Scrolls: Morrowind, any Rainbow Six game, Deus Ex: Invisible Wars, Fallout: New Vegas. So many games, so little time.

Fallout 2 and Xenogears. Played Fallout 2 twice but never beat it. As for Xenogears, I got to what I think was the last boss, but apparently wasn't leveled high enough. Never went back to that game, but it was good.

Silent Hill 3, puzzles were a bit odd for me to play through and the game just frightened me.
Well it's supposed to be scary, so it sounds like they succeeded :).

Kingdom Hearts. I could never beat the final battles with Xemnas. I'd beat him, and then the big Heartless would kick my ass.

Golden Sun, I have the game a few feet away, yet I just haven't finished it. I refuse to play The Lost Age or Dark Dawn until I beat the first one, dispite owning both of them (Dark Dawn isn't even unwraped yet.)

I usually beat everything I play. But there's one or two I haven't finished yet that keep bugging me. The only reason I haven't finished one of them (Mass Effect 2) is that it just gets sooooo booriiing about halfway through. And I've clicked on enough planets to have made the scanners of the Enterprise jealous... and that became so friggin' repetitive...

The other is Disgaea... man, talk about long and drawn out.

For me it is Rebel Runner: Operation Digital Code. Damn error in level design prevents me from passing it.

FF13, after 20 hours of tutorials I just couldn't take it anymore, I want to see the story but god damn it I'll be brain dead before I can slog through to the end.

GTA4, I want to see if it get's fun at any point in time, but that social bullshit makes it so tedious and boring I can't get myself to play anymore.

Oblivion, it's so hard to beat without getting side tracked. One second you're out of the imperial prison and on your way to Anvil or the Imperial City. The next you're in a room that melts into butterflies and forging armour made from ore that's apparently made from souls.

Oblivion... I'm still playing the damned GOTY edition... I keep getting sidetracked with all these little quests and I find it hard to care deeply about any of the NPCs.

But I love the game, still. It's just... different. I also hate the leveling system with an absolute passion; any game that encourages me to stand there and spam a spell in order to get the correct attribute bonuses just isn't a great game in my book.

Ugh. It's a a game I love to hate. :) (Or would that be hate to love?)
