i've been stuck on this for awhile, and my only friends with xbox360 are call of duty and halo addicts, so im not taking their advice. question is what are 5 games i must must must get for 360 besides cod, halo, and final fantasy. and if your really determined to be a smartass and make some ps3 superiority comment, shove a chair in your mouth. or just refrain from making that remark, whatever you prefer.

Mass Effect 1 and 2, Assassin's Creed 1 and 2, Oblivion and Fallout 3 if you don't have them for the PC, and Mirror's Edge (though that might be more of a rental).

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach, Mass Effect 1, ME2. I know you said no Halo, but it's so awesome the rules are warped by it.

Try XBLA, there's lots of great stuff on there.

You can get some cool stuff like Shadow Complex, Marvel vs Capcom 2, and some classic stuff like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
Portal is on there too but you should just get the Orange Box.

Otherwise Bioshock?

That's all I got man. This console generation trumps compared to the last in my opinion.

UFC Undisputed 2010, Ninja Gaiden 2 And Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Both Assassin's creed games are my favorites so far.

This game is very, very fun, and if you want an entertaining sports/fighting game, I'd recommend it.
Also: AC 1 and 2, Ninja Gaiden 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Red Dead Redemption, Grand Theft Auto 4, Grand Theft Auto: Episodes of Liberty City, Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect 1 and 2, Gears of War 1 and 2, and from the Xbox Live Arcade, Shadow Complex, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and Trials HD.
All of these are good games.

If you had a ps3 which is highly superior to 360 you could get so many better games like Metal Gear Solid 4, Little Big Planet, Uncharted 1 and 2, and God of War 3. Insert chair. Only kidding.

If you like JRPGs at all Tales of Vesperia is arguably the best the system has to offer. Lost Odyssey is good as well. On the other hand you can look into Dragon Age Origins, Dead Space, Resident Evil 5, and Red Dead Redemption.
