Shame. I wanted to see Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 with Xbox backwards compatibility.nilcypher said:Not wanting to be the cloud to your silver lining, but any games not already compatible will probably stay that way now. It's just not a priority for Microsoft.

There's no money in it for them though, so why would they bother?Telferoo said:ah long.nilcypher said:Not wanting to be the cloud to your silver lining, but any games not already compatible will probably stay that way now. It's just not a priority for Microsoft.
someone needs to go kick microsoft in the ovaries and make them get back on it.

All of the original Xbox games is a bit much, since they're at the point where essentially every single game would require individual emulation code to make it work.Logan9993 said:How about all games that arn't already backwards compatible. Most of my good xbox games are already done but it'll be good when I can sell my xbox without worrying about not being able to play all of my games.
Thats true, but they could at least do it out of kindness, otherwise its like Yahtzee said, "a load of bullshit and chips".nilcypher said:Firstly, they lost money on both consoles, secondly it is not Microsoft's fault that you have a small room.
Er, Fable should work. If not, just get it on XBox Originals.AntiAntagonist said:I'd like games that are on the emulation list to work. I've inserted Fable and Fable: The Lost Chapters (both of which are on the list) into my updated console (both via disc, and LIVE updates) and it still claims that the disc is some foreign object of such alien origin that I may have as well inserted the obelisk from 2001.
Although I am glad that I didn't pay for The Lost Chapters, and only borrowed it.
Yeah I was just wishing. Nilcypher's probably right about it being a low priority now. But we can still dream.GloatingSwine said:All of the original Xbox games is a bit much, since they're at the point where essentially every single game would require individual emulation code to make it work.Logan9993 said:How about all games that arn't already backwards compatible. However, there are some Xbox gems that really deserve emulation, and a release on Xbox Originals.
Beyond Good and Evil is one such. Also, Otogi and Otogi 2.
