I'm probably one of very few. I have to say Team Fortress 2. I bought the orange box for 2 reasons: 1) Portal 2) TF2.

But after an hour of TF2 I realized I just didn't like it, there was no strategy to it. People pick a class, walk outside, gung-ho until they die. the only sign of any partial 'team work' was medic follows heavy and heals him. I keep going back to it, giving it another chance cause I want to like it, but I just don't.

Portal didn't disappoint.

The original Killzone on PS2. Man that was a shockingly bad game. Hopefully the KZ2 will do a lot better.

Devil May Cry 2 and 4. 4 was worse for me since I had huge expectations of a great next gen Devil May Cry. All I got was some emo dante look alike yelling "Kyrie" every 4 seconds.

Age of Conan,

I hate you Funcom....
Oh god yes. I got all pumped to try AoC and when I actually got to the point where I had to move my character around it started going downhill from there.

Uh, Mirror's Edge.

...and the Half Life series. I get it, it's a good game. But so much hype about something that takes ages to get into.

Halo 3, Halo 2, GTA:IV, Super Smash Brothers Brawl,Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, Everquest (Even though I played for about 2 weeks in 2004). Hmm...The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Sonic Adventure 2, and Disgaea 2.

Probably Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. That game seemed to be great, but when you buy the full game it just is too repetitive to be any fun.

Left 4 Dead. Maybe there's another game out there with the exact same title, because the game I played can't be the same one that all of the Valve fanboys are treating like Jesus in video game form.

I will retract the above statement if the second coming happens and we all find out that Jesus is a generic co-op FPS game with an equally generic and overdone zombie game mixed in.
Well, jesus is the generic holy man when you think about it, the jesus of video games would be a sterotypical video game done really well, which is what l4d is. Left 4 dead is the messiah of co-op games in that it's the first good one in a long, long time.

I didn't like Guild Wars, at all.

Hey, I loved the LOTR games. Every one I've played. Then again, it could just be a matter of me being a huge LOTR fan.

For me: GTAIV. It was hyped up and so I expected a lot out of it, but the story wasn't good like people said, and it wasn't my type of game at all. I know it's a crowning achievement of gaming, but I see no reason why it was so loved.

Currently: Gears of War 2 multiplayer matchup system. I loved the first game, am loving the co-op story, Horde is awesome.. but it takes way too long to get into matches. I haven't played enough to be *disappointed*, but I'm afraid I won't be as addicted to this one's multiplayer as I was to the last one's.

The other one I can think of: Spider-Man 3. Got too boring when I would have to fight x mobs to continue the story. Sheesh.

Halo 3, GTA 4(fuck roman numerals), and Mirror's Edge are my most recent ones, although I will admit that there aren't too many things wrong with any of the games, I wish if I was promised the end-all-most-amazing-game-ever game, that it wouldn't be a rehash of a prior game.

I mean seriously, Halo 3 was built ground up for the fans only, because there were so few differences between that and the first game, and even though GTA has its new interactive world, nothing has ever been done to make the missions less repetitive, which is a huge turn-off for me.

Oh, and Mirror's Edge was just a letdown from the game I thought it would be.
