Prototype and Mirror's edge are two that come to mind but is there anything else.

I'm trying to get ideas for a game with super speed and trying to see which games I can look for controlling movement well?

More 3D game suggestions than 2D please

N, that fun flash game where you're a stick-figure ninja jumping around and dodging evil robots and the like.

Tales games from Tales of the Abyss on have important running mechanics (TotA was the introduction of freerunning, being able to move over the entire battle plane in three dimensions freely).

The robot unicorn attack.

But since that's a sidecroller what else can you expect.

I really have to thank Alt+Escape for introducing that to me.

Sonic, though I guess you won't look to the 3-D ones for inspiration, on account of them sucking shit through a lead pipe.

God... I hate doing this... "This".

That game has a lot of running, jumping, and dodging. Very fun, also quite challenging.

Also: Sonic.

And how could I forget, The Last Guy - a game where you need to cleect survivors within a city, against a time limit to the evacuation. The rescued people will run behind you (until you visit the evac zone) but will alse disperse if you come too close to a monster.

A game where literally, all you can do is walk and dash and you need to reach a certain amount of people within the time limit and run back to the evac zone without the crowd dispersing in fear before you get there.

I can't really say sonic because that's why I want to make a super speed game.

If Sega keeps fucking up I'll make a good speed game.
