You're about 2 posters short of that being an original joke. Good try though.Nudu said:The Witcher 2 has a lot of polish. GEDDIT!?!

I completely agree, I did the same as well, reading the codex and whatnot. I was amazed at the sheer detail and size of the game, and it's crafting system. I've been replaying it recently and have found so much more stuff that I missed back in the day when I had first gotten the game. Unfortunately I haven't beaten it yet, I'm on the 2nd disk though so I'm close to the end. Another unfortunate thing is that a friend spoiled the end for me a while back =\ That's not stopping me though I'm gonna get around to finishing it soon XD.Daystar Clarion said:Totally agree, the sheer size of the game was amazing. I've got a save lying around somewhere with 100+ hours on it. I also loved reading all the codex entries, which I don't usually do.SvenBTB said:Star Ocean: Till The End of Time. Not the most polished graphically (although I do like the artwork and the visuals a lot), but in the established universe they have set up. Specifically, the in-game dictionary. The amount of time and effort they must have spend developing totally original techno-bable, civilizations, histories, and descriptions of the level of gravity and the tilt that the planets have is simply staggering.
Out of curiosity, who are your favourite characters? I haven't played it in a long time, but at the time, I liked Nel and Abel.Dagnius said:I completely agree, I did the same as well, reading the codex and whatnot. Oh, I'm looking forward to that more than any other game.Mike Laserbeam said:You've not played the first two?! Oh man... You have goooooood times ahead!redisforever said:I have to say, TimeSplitters Future Perfect was incredibly polished. I actually never found a glitch, and so much love and care went into it...Wow.
Also, I have, just today, acquired a couple of PS2's. I can now play the first 2 games in the series. Woo!
Cherish it, CHERISH IT!
I'd have to say Albel and Maria. I like the art behind them and the way they're presented in the game.Daystar Clarion said:Out of curiosity, who are your favourite characters? I haven't played it in a long time, but at the time, I liked Nel and Abel.
It's the claw, man, it's all about the claw...Dagnius said:I'd have to say Albel and Maria. I'm not a fan of the Lazer Gun but Maria's character/personality/history was pretty interesting to me.
I have no idea as to why I like Albel. Usually I don't like the 'Cocky Badass' characters in media but for some reason I find him to be a really cool character. Maybe it's the Katana. XD
So after playing WipeOut HD in 1080p, how does it feel reverting back to 720p and less than 60FPS when playing other games?Daystar Clarion said:
In all honesty, this is the first Wipeout game I've played since the first one, all those years ago, and I don't really notice FPS drop off unless I'm playing the exact same game but slower.Raiyan 1.0 said:So after playing WipeOut HD in 1080p, how does it feel reverting back to 720p and less than 60FPS when playing other games?Daystar Clarion said:Also, you should now start complaining because WipeOut HD, which itself is basically a port of a PSP title, is the only WipeOut title the PS3 has gotten. This series used to be the poster child for PlayStation in the PS1 and PS2 era.
OT: I would say Valve games - the amount of play testing they do is ridiculous.
