Another count for Harvest Moon. I despise the game with a passion, but it's terribly addictive. However after sucking the game for all it was worth, I finally set it aside indefinitely until... Perhaps later. You can only milk a cow so much.
Final Fantasy 12 was another game I hated. It wasn't the game, itself that was addictive, but the battle system. The plot and characters were terribly generic, and half of the places I went to in that game felt like reject scenery from StarWars or a rip from a previous Final Fantasy Game. My outlook on the music was similar to the scenery. But I could spent hours hacking away at random things.
