indigo prophecy for the Xbox.
if that doesn't end this thread right away, let me add a few points about how I acquired it to put the final nail in the coffin:
it was the Xbox original version. I owned an original xbox controller (the one with the super stiff trigger buttons). So unless you had wrist and finger muscles like the incredible EFFING Hulk, it was effectively impossible to beat some of the particularly long sequences, like several minutes long, where you had to alternate between the left and right triggers at top speed. That was a carpal tunnel injury waiting to happen.
the second point relates to how i acquired it;
I preordered it from EB games. that's right, not only did I pay full price, I preordered for the privilege, and because I bought it from EB Games, I paid the EB Games tax, because they always charge at least $5 more per game than anywhere else. It gets better too. On top of that, the day the game was released in store, my local store screwed up. they didn't get it in on the release day. So i made them call up and find a store that had it in so i could collect it on release day. The nearest one was 45 minutes away. I drove there to get it, mostly over the speed limit all the way.
The fact that I bought it at all was shameful enough. The circumstances of HOW i went about getting it, I'll never live down.
