Games you are ashamed to say you love...

I'm never ashamed of any game which I like, though I suppose the most potentially controversial titles to my liking would be those among the few VN's I've played which I liked, and perhaps Resident Evil 5 which seems to be getting a lot of flak from those who've played the predecessor. That I didn't exactly hate Might & Magic 8: Day of the Destroyer might count too if anyone remembered it these days.

Seems to me like people are either ashamed of truly terrible games that they genuinely enjoy playing or of admitting they enjoy heavily criticised mainstream games. That's not to say anyone should be ashamed of playing any game at all (except perhaps RapeLay LOL).

The majority seem to be pretty shameless so far though so good stuff!

On the subject of dodgy japanese games, Simgirl, albeit a free online game was, looking back, a pretty shameful way to spend my evenings.

I don't know. I found Rapelay very shoddily made. I mean, there were bugs all over the place.

There's also Army of Two. They put a lot of effort into making the characters cliched but it's still a really fun game for couch co-op.

I feel exactly the same about the multiplayer for Prey on the 360. It was laggy as hell and only ever had like 20 people playing online ever but I still chose that over any other online shooter at the time.

If I wanted to throw the original Xchange through a wall, would that game be worth playing at all?

To be honest, yes.
The first game, much to my horror, was nothing but a constant visual assault. The pictures were not that well drawn, and it was mostly porn.
So not the kinda "game" I like. Worst first VN ever >.>
However, Yin-Yang is actually pretty well drawn. A hell of a lot better than the first X-Change game.
And there is a ton less porn. It focuses more on actually making the story better. The story managed to make me cry in the first few minutes >.>
It cuts out a lot of the crap, and made it into something a lot better.
Also, on the J-list page for it, there is a demo movie available for download, if you want to check it out. I haven't seen it, myself.

The first x-change was a bit crappy (though crowd tend to make every girl the same chest size even if the description makes them small). Also almost every ending made you a sex slave one way or another.

I have to say Style boutique for the DS , took me around 4/5 days to win every fashion contest. Love dressing up the people coming into the store.
