For me I would have to say Donkey Konga and Shadow the Hedgehog.

Idk why I wanted them but I was young and asked for them for Christmas.

I played Shadow the Hedgehog for probably 30 minutes and never played it again, it is the worst video game ever.

Mass Effect, the gameplay sucked and the storyline was mediocre. The graphics may have been gorgeous but I still felt cheated.

Turok, simply because it's the only first person shooter I've come across in recent memory that controls badly. I don't know how they managed it, but it's awful. It's a frustrating combination of how fast you aim in one direction and how difficult it is to aim in a direction that's not left, right, up or down.

There are tons of things that revolve around the core gameplay that are similarly frustrating like how temperemental the knife is and how you handle your weaponry - but the game itself just doesn't play well at all.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 for the PS2. I had high hopes but as soon as I got out of the store and looked at the back I almost returned it there and then. Unfortunatly I was idiodic and played it first. I felt really stupid going back and returning it an hour later.

Dominion: Storm Over Gift 3

Paid full price for it too. $50 for a game that was only worth about $5. Grindy, samey missions with cumbersome units and four arduous, interchangeable campaigns. I thought it had some potential, because I really liked the game it was based off of (G-NOME, one of the most unique mech sims out there).

Edit: Oh yeah, and Devil May Cry 2. Paid full price for that one as well. That's the LAST time I ever bank on a sequel being good.

I didn't even get to the parts Yahtzee hated. The idiotic perspective caused me to get 100% stuck at a simple jumping puzzle.
