Baldur's Gate 2. The most memorable video game plot that I have experienced, along with a cast of characters that is impossible not to get attached to.

The world is a worse place without Black Isle :-(

While no game could ever be 'perfect' in the eyes of the entire consumer base, I have to say Shadow Of The Colossus comes pretty damn close.

Honourable mentions of course going to Bastion, Portal (the first one), OOT and Deus Ex.
