I remember this game I had for the PSOne. You were playing this spiky haired guy, in what basically looked like a side scrolling platformer, and you were fighting off evil pig creatures who were threatening to destroy the world or some such. I know you had to do a lot of swinging from place to place, and I think collecting apples was involved. I know that changing the colour pants you wore gave you different powers and bonuses. There was some old guru you had to meet early in the game who lived in a tree, everyone speaking in text screens of course, and I also know there were villagers you had to help.

I really liked this game but I have no idea what it was. I may have only owned a demo...
That would be Tomba!

I remember it from the demo to, it's so hard to find so I have never played the full game.

THANK YOU! =D This has been bugging me for ages, that I couldn't remember the name of this game I thought was awesome as a kid.

Now that I know what it's called I have to go back and add it to my favourite games of all time lists.

There was this strategy game on PC that I had a demo of and for the life of me I can't remember what it was. All I remember was that every unit you built was flown in by Helicopter and was dropped on the battlefield; I'd quite like to try it again, I was so young when I played that but I enjoyed it at the time.

Alright, so:

My game is a quite old PC game, with pretty good graphics. The so-called hero is a cat, wearing a pirate hat, and you can gain tresure chests and stuff. It's a hard game.

I think the first level is somewhat of a cave. It's really easy.
The second level is somewhat of a castle, and the boss is a woman. It's kind of hard.

There's also a water level, in which the boss, from what I remember, is a witch with a lot of tentacles, or something similiar.

Captain Claw. It's a classic game.

Im looking for a game, kind of obvious right? You play as an egg. Its kinda old and was played on a PC. Its a sidescroller, you collect items, jumps high, its not 3D maybe 16 or 32bit and you start in a house! I think thats all I can remember, it was about fourteen years since I played it and I was too young to remember the name. I hope this info can help :) Cheers!

Hi guys...
It's been so long since I've started looking for this game, if anyone is up to the task I shall be very grateful.
There were four characters. Ninja and Wizard for sure plus warrior with sword and woman (she could add herself a energy at any point in the game from some sort of magic bottle.
There was a shop in the game, after each level there were different items waiting for every hero. These were fantastic.
Ninja was the only character that could shoot from the very beginning of the game, wizard could open special window and choose his magic ability, I think he had just 2 fireballs at the beginning of the game.
First boss was some sort of jelly thing hanging from the ceiling also coming down to attack you.
This platform game was in the saloon with arcade games, not sure who manufactured it.

I think I found similar game with a word gauntlet in it but it's a pure guess. I just cant say.

Anyone???

I remember an FPS a wierd one, you start the game by sliding down a pit, when you hit the bottom there are indians or some sort of dancing and circling a statue. I remeber that you can kick as
some sort of a melee attack, you could kick those indiands, although they would'nt harm you.
That's all I remember from that game, excuse the grammar It's really late over here.

Please help me find that game :(
I think it might be some sort of duke nukem game. There arnt many old games that actually have a kick function.
I remember what it was, definitly not a Duke Nukem game.
It was an adventure game.

Hi guys,
I´m so hopeless. I´ve been searching weeks now for an old dos game. I hope someone can help me.
The game I´m looking for is a space shooter game. It´s a multiplayer game, with a blue and a pink/red rocket. The game is similar to the dos game Tyrian. Tyrion goes from the bottom of the screen to the top of the screen. But in the game I'm looking for, you play it from left to right. If you get what I mean.
You had different weapons, which you can power upp by picking the same one.
I hope you can help me! :)

It was a fighting game around years 90. The fight was between baby monsters that later transformed into their adult form. When you choose the monster they were "transfered" in a type of conduct. Hope you can help me

That sounds like the old "Dizzy" series of games for the amstrad and sinclair computers.

I think i played this PC game around 2000-2002

This was a side scroller shooter game. You were in a spaceship with a blue dome on the front. You had a shop menu between levels where you could upgrade your ship, I remember being able to put one weapon on the top and bottom of your ship and be able to upgrade your engines.I think you collected blue crystals or something as currency. It was in a level to level based map format. I remember there being space levels, but also one that was underwater, and one in a mountainous area I think. I remember having it on CD, but maybe not the full version. I just can't remember this games name. Any ideas?

EDIT: I found it myself, game was called Stargunner.

Alright, I'm going to be super greedy right now and request help with *three* games.

The first is a recent one, possibly in the last 5-6 years. I played a demo of it on the PC and the plot was that some aliens were attacking Earth and you had to stop them. It was sort of an RTS, however I don't think there was any base building. The biggest thing I remember was that you could choose which side of the military you would play as. I remember the first choices were 'Science' or 'Firepower'. After each level you would get a new unit. With Science, you would get some unit that could shoot through walls and with Firepower, I remember something about napalm...

The second is once again for the PC, however it's possibly older. I played it maybe 5 years ago, and I think it was really old back then, so not much help there. It was a 3D, 3rd person RPG. It had fairly basic 3D graphics, but the main things that stood out to me was that you would travel in a massively open world and that you would, when creating your character, have to add details about his backstory including his relation with his parents or something. The plot was centered around some demon/devil that had come to the kingdom and you could either destroy him or join him. I remember the title being some 'Knight(s)'.

And last, but not least, is an even older game. Again for PC, but it could have been for DOS, as I played it on 95. It was a first-person driving game, where you could go around running people over. It had sprite graphics. Other stand-out things was that I once drove into a building (?) and picked up a box of donuts and the character said "Mmm, donuts!" in a really evil voice. However, that could be a figment of my imagination. I remember the box art distinctly, it had some bald headed guy behind a wheel, bathed in red light. Something in the back of my mind connects it with Death Metal...could be the soundtack?

Thanks in advance guys, I hope you can help!

There was a game I played on what I believe was a PS2 demo disk a long time ago and its been bugging me for years since I wasn't sure what it was; I'll attempt to state all I remeber about it. There were two characters one was a boy who could transform into monsters he killed and the first enemy I remeber getting was a plant like creature; a girl with a hula hoop ring like weapon that I think shoot out bubbles. The boss on the bonus disk was a stone pterodactyl like creature which I belived you then took the form of to fly out of the area. I've been trying to figure out what it was for years now.
It's a PS1 game called Threads of Fate ^_^

I'm pretty sure the game your thinking of here is called Carmageddon. What you describe matches its cover art.

Search bar approved - found things similar about what you miss IN games, but not actual games.

Now I'm doing this because you're all the knowledgable sorts on games (I'd like to think so anyway), therefore it would make sense to come here.

Anyways, I remember playing this old, old JRPG/RPG where you ran round a city and into forests etc. The colours were seriously bright, like grass was acid green. Near the start, you'd pop out to the forest and fight worms mostly for the start of it. Seriously can't remember the name of it, any help would be appreciated on what game this is :)

If anyone else has this similar problem, post them in this thread - somebody in the community is bound to know what game you're talking about :)

could be Sword of Mana or one of my faves suikoden

Okay, I'll give this a chance.
Maaany years ago there was an MS-DOS game that I loved, but didn't get to play too much.
It was a side scrolling 2D game, possibly platformer, and you were in control of a mecha robot, I think there was a red one, and you walk to the right and blow crap up, jump and dodge a bit, and it was a bit fast paced and plenty of explosions. And the graphics were on par with Sonic 3, for example.

All i remember form that gaem was that it started in a cemetery and you could choose if your character was a guy or a girl, you would see your character like the one in GTA san adreas ( 3rd person i tihnk its called ) and one of the characters had a red cape or soemthing. I remember this sim/RTS where you arrive on the shores of a new land and have to build it up from nothing. Resource collection and the like. I don't think it was one of those Dawn of Discovery games, but it was made in the last 7 or so years.

Not very specific, eh?

Thanks so much! I've come across the game recently, but I never remembered it!
Thanks massively. I'm off to waste some pedestrians...

PC game from a long time ago, the polygon hell time of the first proper 3D games if I remember correctly.

I think it was a platformer or adventure game. There was one level where I had to climb a tower, and the gimmick was that the path up the tower was devided in squares which functioned like a board game. There was some mechanic which decided how many squares to move ahead or back and depending on that you encountered traps or enemies in those squares. I remember it as being awesome and the first time I really had fun in that game.

I thought for a long time this was Prince of Persia 3D but apparently it doesn't have such a level... it must've been something like that though (3D or 2.5D and third-party, definitely not FPS controls).

I can't remember anything else about it but I've been wanting to find it back for years.
