Alright, I'm trying to remember a game that was like a colonization sim. It wasn't one of the Annos or a really popular one, but I remember it was a more intimate affair, with you controlling the people and getting them to log specific areas, etc. It wasn't the standard drop a building and wait for the people to do the work. It must have been made in the last 7-8 years or so, because I think it had 3D overhead graphics.

Alright, i've come here for hope. This is a REALLY tough one. This game title is so hard to find.

This was a fighter-type of game. DOS (i think, or maybe not). I remember the setting was in a renaissance/medieval-ish type of place. The characters you could pick were mostly monsters and nonhumans. In one level, I remember it being sandy in the background floor with old arena buildings.

I only remember 3 of the characters off the top of my head and i can describe them. One of them was named "Golem," and he was big and gray like a rock. The other character was a zombie named "Gravedigger" and he was green and he attacked with a shovel. And then there was another character whose whole entire body was a big eyeball with legs attached at the bottom and was red all over and it could jump high...(i don't remember the name of this character unfortunately). Oh, and i think another one of the characters was a fully armored knight...not sure.

And at the end of the battles, there was 3 top winners standing on the "winner-stand" (1st 2nd and 3rd places).

The graphics for it were HORRIBLE (probably 8 bit or less). I remember really enjoying the "medieval" style music in the game because it seemed to fit the game's theme and style (whatever that was).

This was all i could remember about the game. So if anyone knows the title, please let me know? XD thanx. I'm a bit disappointed that i wasn't able to find it on my own with my google skills and all, but i suppose going to the forums was my last resort :) help me please.

OH YA, forgot to mention that this game may have been made around the early to mid 90's.

I am looking for the name of a game my grandmother played years back. The beginning is some teens who stay at a museum overnight and end up getting trapped. Then some ghost escape from jars and you have to return them. Also, I recall at some point you have to play the siren song on the piano to progress to the next step of the game. Please help me in remembering the name of it. Thanks!

Hi, i am looking for a game i played the other day...but i don't know what is the tittle so i'm just gonna say a bit on how the game is. The game is a third person action game, it's something like assassin's creed but it's in the modern world. When i was playing it, i was asked to kill a solider and steal his uniform in stealth mode so i can use his authority to get a vehicle for the someone that gave me the mission...While trying to get to the destination i was attacked by bunch of soldiers and monsters. Hopefully someone can help me with the tittle of the game thanks.!!

Okay I would LOVE if someone could help me out because I've done so many searches everywhere online from google to every abandonware/DOS site I can find!

From what I can remember this was an old PC game with basic super basic graphics but more visually appealing than the original King's Quest games. I THINK that it was 1st-person and text based, however there is a possibility it was point and click. Either way it was an adventure game along those lines with different screen shots, not continuously scrolling play.

It was set in a modern urban place, at least in the beginning and I believe the main character was a young man... I can sort of describe a couple of the screen shots:

There was one image where your looking at a store front (I think it was a bar) and there was a sidewalk with broken glass, a neon sign, a balloon?

I think there was a screen shot inside of a bar...

Another street view in front of an auto body shop or something like that and there's a grate on the ground and I think you can get into it if you use Vaseline or something like that...

I distinctly remember a screen shot either near the end of the game or where I got stuck and couldn't play anymore and it was a windmill and the interior had a pile of skulls and there was a spot of light on the floor from a window at the top of the windmill...possibly something about a crystal...I don't know

I also remember quite a few things that were on the items list/inventory:

Balloon, helium tank, Vaseline/lube of some kind (I really don't think this was a dirty computer game-I played it when I was very young), broken glass, skull,

Seriously if anyone has the faintest idea of what this game is and could solve this mystery for me I'd be SOOO happy!

Ok this one I tried everything to remember. This is all I got to work with. Ready?

This game was a side scroller, if I remember right. You played as a little girl who I think had blonde hair, she wore a hat and dress which was 2 separate colors split in the middle. One side was red, and one side was purple. Depending on which way you were walking you shot a different color "bullet" which hurt only certain enemies. She used her finger to shoot which she held like you hold when you have a hand gun. You know when you use your hand to make a gun. And I only remember one part of a level, if it's real, you were on a train and the boss you had to shoot it with only one of the colors and it spent a lot of the time making you be on the other color. Ring a bell anyone?

And the other game was a top down game, where you played as a guy and you would run to like tanks and mechs and jets and stuff and you would run around killing bases and other things. That's all I got on that one. Please. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

EDIT: I got a picture from someone on the internet.

EDIT2: I got the first game thanks to a fine gentlemen on /v/

OK So Im trying to figure out what this game is called, I'm drawing a blank. All I can really remember is when you first start the game you are in bed and your "mom" is waking you up and telling you about going to school. When you leave and go to school you meet a girl there. After you talk to your teacher or something you head over to a castle or something, I think something about a princess... Eventually you go through a cave and fight with some ghosties that's underground. If you can help with this id really appreciate it. Thanks!!

hey guys trying to track down an old rpg. I remember it being a iso style game. Typical rpg, swords armor etc customisable etc. You could tame a pet wolf. You fought golins etc on the surface then in the dungeons you could fight all types of things. U'd eventually work you way to dragons i believe. It had a very brown/green color scheme on surface and very dark in dungeons. Goblins were blue and there were alot of steam pipes. Iuno lol was a long time ago. I remeber that you could play first bits for free and then you had to buy disks which were sent to you. I was a kid then neva got the rest of the game. All the equipment had a rarity level etc. so yeh pretty board but see how you guys do. Cheers

I don't remember the actual game. By your description it does sound like a text adventure with drawn graphics or bitmap graphics. A lot of these were made in the '80s and early '90s.

If you want to research further maybe this site could be of some help:

A PS1 game called something life, I can't remember it's name. It was a side scrolling adventure game where you used a gravity beam thing to smash enemies on the surfaces of the level and kill them. It involved a lot of puzzles and tricky movements, plus it was tough. But it was really fun!
Wild 9?

I remember a side-scrolling platformer for the Commodore 64.

You were controlling a grey/blueish robot-like man through a series of scifi/tech-like levels. You could become invincible by collecting an item of some sort, and when that happened you were blinking between the greyish color of the main character, and a white color until the powerup had run out.

I would love to get hold of this game, so thanks in advance.

This game on Windows 95 where you played as a pesticide can, and had to squeeze yourself to destroy the increasingly fierce waves of hornets that were attacking. If anyone remembers the name, please let me know!

Could it be 'Legend of Legaia'. It was a final fantasy like rpg game with cute graphics and leveling system but it was hard because even few slimes would run over you in two or three battles.
