I used to have this game for the NES, the main characters name was RAD i think (or part of the game title)

you were on a spaceship, and went to different planets (the warp to a different planet was like an old C64 loading screen, coloured bars flying up on the spaceships viewscreen), it was a 2D sidescroller for the most part

The main guy looked like an 8 bit spaceman Fonz.

This is all i can really remember, but i used to play the hell out of that game!

@Bema Jinn, I think it is "RAD Gravity"

PSX game
Action (Platformer?)

Short Desc:

Game is made between these years: 96-2001 (I believe)

You played against other players/CPU (1-4 Players, 1-3 CPU) and you needed to get portals and activate them to win that stage, there was about 10 characters and 8 lvls, one of the level was a inka temple..
Some of the characters had different special movements, like one can climb the wall and other can change the place with other player (teleport to him/her and that guy/gal ends up to that place where you was.)

Overall, the game is pretty dark, the levels are not very colorful, nor are the characters.

If I remember right, it had somekind of powerups too, kindof weapons or something like that.

damn it's hard to tell, because I have played it like 8+ years ago...

Sincerely, Miksu

A PC or possibly Mac game in the 90's which was 1st person. You were an army soldier who went around in a 2 - 6 man assault team killing "baddies". Each team member had different colour body armour, Preacher (I think his name was) wore red body armour while Duke? wore blue and there was a purple, cyan and a couple of others.

I also remember there being trenches filled with which you had to climb through. I just remember playing this game as a kid and it stuck with me, I;m quite sure it was late 90's and came out after the game Myth and before the game Half-Life.

Thank you to anyone who has any ideas!

Hi guys, Searched my ass of trying to find the name of the game I played when I were younger.

The game is a ps1 racing game were you see the car from above, there´s 2 specific things I remember about the game, first there was an Ice track were u could push eachother on the Ice so u would glide and stuff, I think you could shoot eachother 2. and the second thing is there was a yellow schoolbus. since I were only 10-12 when I played it (2000-2002) I´m not shure but think the game had very much colors in it.

It´s not twisted metal or Vigilante 8, it´s more kid looking rather than how you´d think an action shooter race game would look

Would LOVE if u could name the game for me, Thank u so much in advance and sorry If there is alot of misstypes and spell wrongs

Alright, this'll sound basic, but it's been driving me crazy.

It's an old (presumably) PS1 game where you played as this chick with green hair and a white outfit. She looked like she had deer legs, and the game was definitely Japanese. It was a side-scroller. Any leads?

The feel of the game was kind of like inside a computer or something. Pretty much blocks and the like. However, when you start the game, you get to choose one of three vehicles. Every so many levels you would get an upgraded version of the one you chose. I think 3 versions of each by the end.
The basic of the game is collecting crystals or something like that, and I think you were on a timer. I believe you had enemies trying to stop you. And you were basically driving around blocks, and up blocks; trying to find all the crystals. A bit of a puzzle game.
Sounds a bit like Assault Rigs?

Hey all,

I am looking for help to hopeful maybe get the name of the game i played when i was younger about 10ish so about 1990-1997, i have tried in past to find it but with no luck.

Ok here are th details i remeber

1. It was on atari st
2. it was a text based game with i think limit graphics on some screen not all
3. it was Americanised ie the things you have to type where american version of words like i would say tap but it would want faucet

now the game details i remember

4. i think you started in your bedroom could be kitchen or livingroom
5. you would go west i think to i think livingroom or bedroom
6. you would then go north and be in hallway with a door to the north and the bathroom to the west
7 the door could be only opened with the command open sesame
8. in the bathroom you had to find i think a umbrella then tune on the faucet (taps) to get a object
9 after you go back to the hallway and go out the door your outside
to the north is a curtain and you had to use a certain command to get past the ghost i think the ghost was one of the few screens you got a image on
10 details are now sketch i think to the east there was some sort of sewer and it was dark and you could easily gt lost in it

I've had so many of these before, but I found out most of them. Stuff like:
Really awesome cowboy FPS = Outlaws
Really awesome space shooter = Tyrian 2000

Probably the only one I'm trying to think of now is a space sim game where you flew down really tight irregular tunnels at high velocity from a first person perspective. It was the game that first introduced the word 'afterburner' to me.

Hi!

I am also one of those who found this website because of my incessant web search for this game I used to play when I was a kid. I used to play it on Windows 95, although I reckon it may be from 1998 or even 1999. I don't remember much of it, but I know it was kind of an action game. You had to control a character, human I think, who would transform into a spaceship to shoot enemies. I don't remember if this was the only way to do that, but I certainly remember having to transform into a spaceship. I think that as levels went by, you would unlock new and more powerful spaceships. This WASN'T a shooter, it was a side-viewed action game. Most of the time you would use your normal character to walk on solid surfaces. The environment was quite "futuristic", if that means anything. I personally remember a level which had a lot of blue and on the background you could see wires and chips and things like that. When I think of the game I always think of the color blue, maybe the character was also blue, although I can't be certain. My brother says he remembers a level in which the background had a lot of orange.

I know this isn't much, but it's the best I can do. It was a side-viewed 2D or a lame 90s 3D game, with a lot of pixelated shadows.

Can someone help me here? I honestly don't remember how I got the game, I think it was on a promo CD that came with a magazine but I'm not sure.

HELP!
Does anyone remember a game for PS1, I only had the demo and can't for the life of me remember the name of it. It begins (from what I remember) with really lively, fun music, and you have to go down this water slide and collect things. The slide is made of wood I think, and high in the air surrounded by trees and land. Then at one bit you're in a small village and have to go on a quest to find things - but as far as I recall that's where the demo ended.

I just remember it being really loud and bright, everything was bright blues and greens in the water slide bit. I think it was maybe from 1998-ish. Maybe earlier, I played it when I was 7 - that was 2000.

The music was so upbeat and fast, like a big fun adventure for 10-12 year olds.

Much appreciated!!! x

I'm trying to remember the name of this game for the original xbox. This is going to sound a lot like Doom 3 but I have seen Doom 3 and it is different. There is an underground lab or research facility. There was a problem in that lab where a scientist or someone was attacked or went missing. They send a few soldiers down into the lab to find out what happened but they didn't come back.

You play one of the soldiers that are sent down to try and figure out what happened. I think (not really sure) you go with a few other soldiers but they are attacked or infected by something and you have to go down further alone. I think the soldiers were wearing special suits to keep them from being attacked or infected by something. The levels are very dark and look like Halo or Doom 3.

I was watching a walkthrough of this game on youtube years ago, and one of the comments said it was a very good looking game for it's time but not very well known like Halo or Doom 3.
