I played it like 3-4 years ago.
You can travel with ships from city to city , while trading goods , building manors and different farms/mines (cotton , marble , tobacco). While your farms/mines need workers. The population needs also need somewhere to live(thats why you need to build manors) and if theres no place to live or work , they start to leave.

I don't remember exactly , buy i think you could also qoncuer citys.

u maybe looking for ANNO 1404

Hi everyone!
I've been searching for this game I used to play on PC like 10 years ago, can't find it anywhere and it's killing me! You controlled a thief, it was a click-to-move game with a SIMS like camera angle and it was all about taking on missions about stealing things from various places. You had like a crowbar to break through windows.. I remember there was a cinema level where you had to steal the tape, then an art museum or something.. And there were guards who you had to avoid cause you'd fail on the mission if they saw you.. Rings any bell? (I think it had the word "thief" in the title but I'm not 100% sure)

There was this one game for N64, I got it from my friend, I remember the graphics were really blocky and something about fighting bugs on hills made of sand. I never got far in the game, but when I looked at my friends save he had access to some warp system where he could go a whole bunch of different places. I always wanted to get further into the game but the bug-aliens always killed me because I didn't even know how to shoot =S

Honestly, I don't want to play this game now, but I do wish I remembered the name of it, I can visualize the game cartridge cover art, but I can't describe it. And I have the name on the tip of my tongue, but I can never get it completely off my tongue. I'm almost certain it has to do with the word Invasion.

Body Harvest?

Yeah! That's it, thanks!!! I don't want to play it, but at least now I know what it's called =p

Okay... been trying to find this stupid game for AGES. Seems to be the only one I cannot seem to find. It was on the PS1.

Now, all I remember is this:
The feel of the game was kind of like inside a computer or something. Pretty much blocks and the like. However, when you start the game, you get to choose one of three vehicles. Every so many levels you would get an upgraded version of the one you chose. I think 3 versions of each by the end.
The basic of the game is collecting crystals or something like that, and I think you were on a timer. I believe you had enemies trying to stop you. And you were basically driving around blocks, and up blocks; trying to find all the crystals. A bit of a puzzle game.

Anyway. PS1, again; just cannot seem to find it. I have it vividly in my head, just cannot piece together the exact details or name. Enjoyed watching my dad play it.

Hey Guys,

nice site and Forum.
I'm searching for over a year for a game i played in my childhood. Maybe someone here know it? I'd be so happy to find it.

I played it on my fathers PC in Dos I think.
You play a blue ball, which jumps over wooden platforms and you see it in bird's eye view. Under the plattforms is water, in which you die. (The ball "explodes" to quaters.) On the platforms are many action-fields like holes which teleports you and so on.
I thought a part of the name or the publisher was "Dolphin" but i can't find it with this informations. (Tried google...)

Do somebody know it?

Hi!

I'm damned if I can remember this small game. I only played a demo many years ago.
I'm looking for an old, top down, 2d, turn based, space shooter. You controlled a small green space ship with a small team along side of you. Each turn you would set you direction and speed and the option to queue up and missiles you wanted to launch. Then when you ended the turn you would move in that direction and fire and missiles you had selected. Both teams would queue up their moves like this for each turn. I remember you also had the option to eject from your ship. So, if you saw a missile next to you, you could take a chance and try to move at the end of the turn or play it safe and eject. There was also and ship creator tool in the game for custom ships and bases.
This was a small indie game so wouldn't expect many to have played it. Its also easy to reconginze by its high pitched alarm sound once an enemy is spoted.

Hope someone can help!

OKAY, old and devoted Playstation nerds will hopefully know what I'm talking about:
Remember Playstation Underground? You know how they had really awesome demo discs that were like a multimedia magazine for the Playstation? Okay, remember there was sometimes an import demo, usually something Japanese that Americans would never be exposed to otherwise? Okay, I'm thinking of one of those demos:

It was a quirky, cartoony 3D action-platformer where you played a fox or some furry thing controlling a robot (sitting on top of it; think Cait Sith-style). Or maybe you were just the robot... No, there was some rodent-thing main character. I dunno. The robot was gray and had long arms. The town you walk around in was on a floating rock, and the boss at the end was a female furry animal who had a hot air balloon or something. And I think you had to fling bombs back at her to defeat her. That's how I remember that the robot had long skinny arms.
So yeah, I just played a demo and it was an import, but I THINK it was localized here in the US shortly thereafter. Not totally sure. Possible the word 'tail' in the title?

Okay, I have an old game that I can't remember that has been frustrating me for years. I want to say it an old PC game, but the more I can't find it and others have no idea, the more I am open to thinking it is on another console. I have always wanted to call the game "Igor's Castle" because I seem to remember a main character called Igor (I think). You (as Igor possibly) have to get into the castle/mansion but can't get in the front and has to end up climbing onto the roof/up to a balcony with spiky railing and get into the castle through a window/through a grate/down a chimney, I am not sure. The whole feel of the game is dark, if I remember, one of lateral thinking. Anyway, that is all I really remember and don't expect miracles because it is so vague. If I can't figure it out here, I will just assume it was like a choose your own adventure book I imagined as a game.

Would have been somewhere from the nineties, I believe.

Oh, and it is not Manic Mansion or any of the Quest for Glory series.

Cheers.

HA!! I SO know that one!! Easy. See, what you described is EXACTLY what I went on a search for a while back. I remember playing that import game on playstation underground. And I went on a search for it and FINALLY found it about 6 months ago. Pretty much based on the exact discription you put (except I knew there were cats and dogs, haha).
Tail Concerto: http://www.psxa2z.com/gpgs/BT1032.html

See, I always WISHED they imported it; and you are right, they did. Missed out on that, since I didnt know. Because I would play that demo over and over again, haha.
