Binding of Isaac. Tried it and hated the controls at first, though came back a few days later and found myself amazing with just what kind of detail and love was put in that game.

Still going to have to try another RTS. Someday. Eventually.

Mass Effect. First time I played it, got bored to tears. Second time I enjoyed the hell out of it. Boy am I glad I gave it a second chance.

Fallout 3. I died at least four times shortly after leaving the bunker and absolutely hated it to the point where I ignored it for nearly six month. However once I did give it another chance I finally got into it to the point where I easily got a Platinum and continue to play it even after New Vegas was released.

I thought Dragon Age: Origins sucked when I first played it but I was later surprised. Going back further, I thought Final Fantasy Tactics sucked at first and now it is one of my favorite RPGs.

Skyrim. Mostly because it drops you off in a wide open world and doesn't tell you how to do shit. Not to mention the strength of magic and sneaking are switched around compared to other games. I always liked playing whoever gets hit first dies, and that's usually the mage in most games. Needles to say when I decided to play a thief I had a lot more fun. I still hate the fact that everything in that world is faster than you, you can't even run away from battles.

Mount & Blade. First time I had no idea what I was doing, and gave up pretty much right away. When I tried it again with some help from friends and online FAQs, I got incredibly addicted to the game. Warband is so much fun, I've spent hundreds of hours on that game.

Okami.
No I didn't had issue with the graphic, this was when I had bought a few new games at once and I was too busy to play them all.
I had a quick go on it but thought nothing much of it and then just drop it in favour of playing this other game next. Months later I had more free time and I was bored so I gave it another go and came to love it.
