Golden Sun 3.
And before someone mentions Dark Dawn, i mean a sequel to the Golden Sun trilogy that is good. I'm not even going to pretend to have faith anymore. After Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 2 and this, i'm probably going to stop buying games developed by Nintendo. None of these games present a challenge. Even for the casual gaming experience Nintendo claims to advocate, this ease of playing should not apply to RPGs and FPSs where the challenge presented in either puzzles and strategy implemented or technique implemented is what makes the game good. And a game that literally gives away the puzzle solutions is not good, not to mention the fact that rather than trying to stimulate the almost artistic design of The Lost Age, Nintendo made things too cartoony AGAIN. And another thing, i can't see how Ninendo screwed the pooch so royally on the plot. The Golden Sun exploded? Also, why is Issac's party held as the big heroes when it was Felix's party that actually knew what was going on?
In short i want a Golden Sun sequel with the same artistic feel of The Lost Age that actually provides some challenging puzzles and with combat that wouldn't be considered easy by my dog's standards.
Assassin's Creed set in Fuedal Japan:
A lot of people thought that Japan would be the next stage for Assassin's Creed series before Ubisoft realized that the Borgia family was a golden target for a game where you control a historical assassin clan. But it isn't too late. I say for Assassin's Creed III you can have it set in Japan and keep the easier platforming and swimming abilities of Ezio but the much better combat system employed by Altair.
Clannad video game:
Actually i don't want another failed effort to make grown men cry, i want a game which actually provides a wide variety of interactions where you can select which girl to get it on with, and possibly an option where you can get Tomoyo to kill Sunohara and then you run away with her as she goes into hiding, discovers that she enjoyed the sensation of killing, and then become her support as she becomes a contract killer.
...okay yes i'm insane. Deal with it.
A Mario game where you have the option to tell Peach that you are through trying to save her. If the stupid ***** never thought to hire a security detail then at this point i find it hard to care that an alligator snapping turtle on steroids is trying to rape her.
A new stealth action series based on the Hitman formula. I know Hitman 5 is coming out, but Square Enix owns the companies making the game. If by some bizarre miracle Square Enix defies all logic and makes a console game that doesn't suck, i will personally make a blood offering to them and request that they make a new Ogre Battle.
...oh yeah, while i'm at it, a new Ogre Battle. Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber was actually quite good in my opinion. Even if i do find it a little odd that the titular monsters are actually quite easy to kill.
Geist 2:
I think Nintendo was actually onto something when they let you play as a ghost that can possess people and objects. Make Geist with an improved physics engine. Maybe sell the license to Valve, the people who seem born to make obscure but excellent FPS games that defy convention.
Oh, and before i conclude, i think Yahtzee was onto something with this. A Fable game where you can kill children and marry your dog.
