I haven't been able to finish Deadspace, Dragon Age: Origins, or the main story quest for Oblivion. I look at them and think, I should really finish those, coz, I've got nothing better to do, but then it feels like a chore. I really want to finish Deadspce and DA:O because the sequels look pretty damn good.
I'm with you on Dead Space. It looks nice and atmospheric, but feels boring. Oblivion I have, and I kind of want to play it, but it's far down the list it's not even funny.
As for Dragon Age: Origins (which I played through just for the story, on the easiest difficulty), keep in mind that Dragon Age 2 is not a direct sequel, but an entirely new story and character.

Alright then, a few candidates of my own:
Burnout Paradise and Flatout: Ultimate Carnage. Both of which I bought on Steam sales, and neither of which I feel any desire to reinstall. Just goes to show that neither open worlds or spectacular crashes are worth anything if the actual racing falls short. An awful soundtrack doesn't help either.
I know Dragon Age 2 isn't a direct sequal, but I'd like to finish Origins first, as a sort of comparison, or to see where it's come from/ headed to. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but it wouldn't feel right to me to go buy DA 2 when I still have the first and have yet to finish it.

And I agree with Burnout Paradise, It just didn't match upto Burnout 3 in my opinion.

EDIT: And Welcome to the Escapist!

Thanks!

Oh, I do agree that you should! The story of Dragon Age is quite good - even if it's bogged down by too many tedious dungeon crawls - and has a spectacular finale. Also, you can import the savefile into DA2 to influence the state of the world!

Music is all opinion. I found the soundtrack in Burnout Paradise to be fantastic.

Except for "Girlfriend".
At least we have that to agree about. ;)

trust me Finishing dead space is worth it....I find that my habit of playing games is that I play a few at a time and strech it out to take as long as possible, but The final act of Dead space was friggen spectacualar

I STILL havnt finished dragon age even though I loved the story and everything (stuck on the last boss) the strategy thing dosnt come naturally, and I cant practice like I would an action game, But ill have to finish it for DA 2 which looks to be awsome! (I suport the changes) especially plotwise, whcih promisis to not be a cliche "save the world from the big dark threat" since thats already been done

Most JRPGs in existance, specifically the ones where the guys look like chicks, and the chicks look like 12 year old boys.

And everyone sucks at voice acting + have really whiny voices.

... Yeah.
