Even if you don't perform well in a game that doesn't mean you can't enjoy fiddling with it. So maybe take out the "you thought" and "would" from the title or instead of "suck at" put in "didn't". I think getting better at playing a game is half the fun.
Edited the title at your request, hopefully it's more clear now.

Practically every RPG.
I just suck at the genre as a whole. I still enjoy it though.

For some specific cases, Street Fighter 3: Online Edition. It's fun, don't get me wrong. But the amount of precision required for combos more complex than jab-jab-jab-Super is ridiculous.
And Street Fighter 4. Love that game to death. I just suck hard at it.

Dead Space. I constantly found myself lacking ammo during the 2nd and 3rd chapter. And how the hell am I supposed to get that many power cores to upgrade my shit?

What? I loved Oblivion more than most games because of the EXTREMELY easy to navigate maps and markers. I only ever found myself lost when I had to discover the Mythic Dawn's hideout in the Emperor Way; I though that I had to go inside the palace.
I gave up on Dead Space at a specific area where 4 monsters raped in every hole and no matter how much ammo I sprayed on them, they just wouldn't die. I still don't know whether it's because I didn't buy the right upgrades to armor/weapons or if I missed something obvious to kill them with. Then again, the whole upgrading bit put me off Dead Space anyway, too much faffing about like you are getting ready for your wedding, just gimme a gun and let me shoot the zombies and I am happy.
Lol, too true. I never even got far enough to purchase any extra weapons. I was like "fuck this shit" and sold all the ammo meant for other guns, and just bought ammo for the default gun (plasma cutter or something). And still I ran out of bullets.. -_-

The new Deus Ex, I really like the game but my god i suck

I died ten times during the prologue not the first mission, the prologue

Apparently I can't handle 3 guys standing in a circle loudly voicing their opinions...

I never tried that, but obviously it didn't work for you, so I doubt that it would work for me. We should buy Dead Space 2 and multiplay our way through it, sucking at a game is always more fun when you suck at it together. :D

Every single RTS ever. I guess fighting games too. I think I am an at an average level, but I pretty much lose to everyone on SSF4AE with a rank lower than 10000.

Killzone 2.

Cannot pass the campaign on the easiest setting, I think it's the second last level or something before you face Radec.

RTS games.I love the idea of controlling an entire army but unfortunately I absolutely suck at them

For example I picked up Warhammer:Battle March for 360.Ended up having to drop the difficulty to the easiest setting as I was getting my ass handed to me and even then I couldn't beat the final battle of the Empire campaign

I think you should probably curb your rage issues before you can get any better at this game. amirite?

Another thing that bothers me is that you put the title as "Games you thought you'd enjoy, but suck at." It almost sounds like to you that if your not very good at a game, you don't enjoy them, or just won't enjoy them. I'm sorry to also curb the topic a little, but I think this is a much more pressing matter. You can still enjoy a game, and be bad at it. I was fucking horrible at GH and Rockband back when they were the fad. I can't drum worth shit, yet to me, it was the most fun part of the game.

Another example is Civilization 5. I was never good at these games, but my strategy of Roman cookie-cutter cities almost always tanks. Maybe I should try India.
I got plenty of rage issues, but they are only connected to video games for some reason. Whenever a computer beats me repeatedly I have to stop playing. Depending on the game and/or how I lose I can take 5 defeats or 100. although I don't mind when I lose from real people with multi-player, for some reason.

And to me, progression means enjoyment, I am not above a challenge that requires me to put effort into before mentioned progress, but when I get stuck on the very first level (or song in this case) because I simply suck, it does destroy the enjoyment I would have gotten from a title.
It's a different case if you make it to a final boss and he gives you a hard time, at least then you can that you defeated 99% of the game.

I am not saying you can't enjoy a game that gives you a challenge, I am talking about gaming experiences that curb stomped you so hard that you reached a dead end.
I dunno. I used to be like that. To rage at a game. But you know, when I hit a dead end like that now? I stop for a moment, think about it, and go back to play the next day with a fresh mind. Getting angry solves nothing, and simply makes you look like a tard. :3

But I do like your answer. I just feel that any anger in any and all games is misplaced.

It's weird to me, because one day, I decided not to be angry, and then I simply wasn't!

Street Fighter IV for the 360. I don't know why though, I've been brought up with fighting games all my life...I'm guessing you have to be asian to be able to complete that game, nevermind unlock achievements on it.
Its funny because SF4 is the one of the easyier fighting games out there, also the most noob friendly of the 2d fighters wait Blazblue is alot like that to.

guilty gear now thats a hard game. It can take people months to be able to cinsitently get down some of the harder combos. I've been playing the series at tournament level for lie 6 years and still have so much to learn.... Greatest game ever made.

OP: uhhhhh ummm, racing games? I dont ven wanna brag just, am very talented in all games that i play. Then again i guess am to busy playing Guilty gear to try many other genres.

Guilty gear fo life!

Used to be really good at Gears of War. But then i moved, and had lag consisstantly. After Playing days of halo, cod, and battlefeild, i just cant get back into the groove of shotgun, hammerburst, or sniper switching online. Or into an organized team for that matter.

I'm terrible at strategy games :p I do like them though. Usually they tend to go a lil bit to fast for me ^^* To many things going on at the same time. Especially considering my ADD ^^* Same things with FPS's. Stuff like CoD are horrible, to much sound going on for me to accurately pinpoint people.

Any Guiar Hero/Rock Band game. Because I can neither tap nor use my pinky finger, actually getting above a passing percentage is a feat in and of itself.

Strategy games in general.

Super Meat Boy. I got it on steam and I just couldn't make the controls work. I was unable to jump properly and could barely control the character's movements. If I had a controller or had gotten the platform version i might have enjoyed it more, but as it stands, the game pisses me off to no end.

Does it still count if you suck at the game but still like it? Because if it does, then Demon's Souls, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I have died so many times in both, yet for some reason it only makes me more determined to succeed... I guess humans really DO thrive on adversity. XD

In Real-time strategy i turtle, make pretty bases, usually being useless and inneficient at everything. I still enjoy looking at the massacre and explosions.

All fighting games ever (again, exception with SSB, since its so easily taken up and require little learning time, quick fun) my tactic : Random button mashing.

All racing games ever. For real. I dislike them. Mario Kart is to blame... the cheating B******.

In FPS, generally those with multiplayer competition in mind. Im usually pretty good as a support role (medic or engineer, i like making the job easier for my team), but i just dont have the patience to learn the maps and strategies correctly.. so i end up getting killed (a lot) by those who do.
And im usually pretty good as a vehicle pilot/gunner, but some games have obtuse control schemes for the flying ones (like the helicopters for BadCompany 2) and i just cant figure them out.

I really thought I'd enjoy Fallout 2.
The story wasn't too bad (atleast as far as I got) and I knew where to go most of the time but the combat? I just cannot work out the combat for this game and I've since grown an intense hatred towards it.

Gran Turismo 5 and other real driving simulator.
These games require actual skill... which I do not have...

I still like them though

starcraft, I love rts games but even back when I really liked blizzard I never liked starcraft, I always disliked how it played, I got the game twice to try and enjoy it (back in the days when ebgames would buy and sell pc games) but no matter how hard I tried I could not enjoy that damn game
