Any games that you've ever played that you just couldn't find a single thing wrong with or nitpick about? For me it's got to be Super Smash Bros Brawl because of the sheer amount of Singleplayer content, unlockable characters, stages, art style, music, and so much more that all come together :)

How about you?

For artstyle, vanilla TF2 is simply perfection.

Everything that was there had a reason for being there, served a purpose. Ever animation, every weapon, every piece of clothing, every part of the levels. All told a story, all had a purpose.

It was perfection at its best.

Pong. I have never had a graphical glitch, freeze, crash, or other issue with this game in the 15 years I've been playing games. So definitely pong.

Pac-man
Tetris
Pong
And so on.
Not my favorite games, but it is the only games that I have no complaints about.

Portal - perfect design, perfect tutorial (that was half the game), perfect story narrative told through play ... just an awesome and well-crafted game all around. Also Half-Life 2 ... pretty much everything Valve does, really.

Zelda games from Ocarina to the Present are just really well-designed, too.

Very few (nitpicky) flaws in RE:4.

I could go on ... but probably shouldn't.

(Of course these rank among some of my favorite games, too.)

Aww, totally ninja'd with Tetris. But yeah, simple and perfect. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Tetris, and it can be played on a calculator.

I see nothing bad in Legend of Mana's design.

Well, maybe the AI. But it WAS the PS1, y'know?

Plus with other versions, you can play with multiple types! AND it's 2 player!

I feel that Portal exemplifies First Person Perspective game play. It has removed shooting, which is cleaver for a FPS. Breaking the physics of the real world with portals is innovative. The amount of characterization and storytelling is almost overwhelming. The world has a lot of verisimilitude. The completion of the puzzles and achievements feels rewarding, without being burdensome. It also makes a great game for people to play if they are new to FPS... Because there aren't tons of enemies trying to shoot you constantly (that part gets worked in towards the end). You're able to take the game at your own pace and really think about how to move through the environment.

I've yet to find a single game I can't ***** about to some degree.

That said, the most flawless game I've come across is probably Chrono Cross.

"Sheer amount of content"? Pfeh.

Perfection, to me, doesn't solely mean it has extremely high quality. I think I will agree Tetris is a "perfect game" in some ways (all its parts are simple, and add together to a satisfying whole) but I still wouldn't play it very often.

Tetris
chess
go

Not many computergames apply. Just Tetris really.
Pong is disqualified not only because it's extremely dull, but also because against a perfect AI, it shoud be impossible to score and a perfect pong AI isn't hard to make.
