Final Fantasy VII: The only one of them that makes every aspect a material aspect. Namely, the materia system, rather than two or three characters of your party being able to throw a fireball. Then there's the actual *gasp* originality of the story, and the main bad guy doesn't change half-way through, then again at the end. Your target is always Sephiroth, who incidentally adds to the awesomeness of the game, for every reason other than the hair -.-'
Portal: A 3D puzzle game that doesn't make me wanna lobotomize myself!!
Assassin's Creed II: Hey, a sequel that actually improved on its predecessor's numerous faults, and came with some replay value--WIN!
Dawn of War: Dark Crusade : RTS built around the annihilation of more than 2 other factions, AND without some schizophrenic storyline. Simple task, smash your enemies non-stop until they finish their posthumous twitching, all the while tactically placing your troops so they can't ambush you or take your strategic points.
Mirror's Edge: First person free(kinda)-running was surprisingly entertaining, and anyone that has something negative to say about this can bugger off and die, your game preferences aren't mine.
