Didn't play Point Lookout and Broken Steel did ya? You know, the ones actually worth itbojackx said:Fallout 3 was mine.
I got it for 360 shortly after it was released, played it for 2-3 hours, thought "well this sucks" and never played it ever again on the Xbox.
2 or so years later I discovered it on Amazon for PC GOTY Edition for £13, so I thought I'd give it another chance (2 years before this point I didn't have a gaming PC to play it on). I ended up completing the main story, a bunch of the side missions, and the only DLCs I missed were Mothership Zeta and The Pitt, because Fallout DLC is just the worst in my opinion, but that's not relevant here.
It took me three goes with months in between, but I got through it and came to the conclusion that I really liked it.bluefiresword said:The first witcher.
I played it before the enhanced edition and could not get into it. I hated it up to vizima outskirts and then quit.
Coming back to it when it came back on gog, I felt similar disdain for it but decided to push forward deeper into the vizima outskirt missions and fell in love with the game. The world, the characters and history all drew me in.
Now Iv read the books and played the witcher 2. I love the series.
Agreed. I tried playing the game once, got frustrated with it and gave up, then started again a few months later and really enjoyed the story.Tartarga said:I hated Dragon Age: Origins the first time I played it. For some reason or another I decided to give it another chance and next thing I knew I had beaten it three times. It must be some kind of wizard.
I still hate it's combat though, my god it is boring. That's just my opinion though.
