SEARCH BAR APPROVED!
I've been thinking about this the other day, and I wanna see how my 100% list compares to everyone elses, so here goes. (and when i say 100% I mean collect EVERYTHING, do EVERY optional mission/quest. not just beat the game, ANNIHALATE IT) Oh, and theres no need to write backstory for every game you finished. I just got caught in the moment, strolling down memory lane. =3
Lego Island 2 (PS1): this mediocre title has no collectibles or anything, so it was incredibly easy.
Crash Bandicoot 3: I never thought i'd be able to find those 2 hidden boxes WAY at the back of the motorboat level in N. gins stages.
Crash team Racer: I would've done it a lot sooner if it werent for that damn CTR challenge at Tiny's Temple.
Theres a CTR challenge for every stage. Here's how it works; is that you have to collect the 3 letters C, T, and R scattered throughout the stage, and then place 1st in the race. I was able to this pretty easily with all the other stages, but the problem I encountered when I was about 7-10 was that the letter R was WAAY to high to reach. A few years later I found out that I had to use a secret route marked on the map (but very easy to overlook) by using an attack on a secret door, that blended in with the background. But i guess it's pretty bad ass that I figured it out without research.
I'd post a picture of the door & route, but I don't know how to post pictures....or where to find the picture.
Spyro the Dragon: I got the game from a cousin who got a ps2. Not much to say, really. Good game, colleted all the Gems, and eggs, then Finished the Final treasure level WHICH WAS AWESOME.
Croc 1 (PS1): A Platformer with decent, graphics and controls with very good level design and GREAT music, especially in the snow and castle stages. However, I was very dissapointed with the bonus levels, they were just cop-outs of older levels, only with much smaller platforms, and the final boss only had 1 stinkin' attack! yet it took me 2 1/2 hours of tediously smacking the 4 gongs on each side of the stage. Then i saw some guy on youtube beat the prick, in like 10 seconds which REALLY Ruffled my feathers.
Jak 3: I didn't pick up all the eggs, but the game said 100% so..... i win?
Crash of the Titans: I was dissapointed when i got the game since none of the other characters get to do anything, like in twinsanity. and the entire game can be beaten in 1 sitting. Oh yeah, and the 100% completion outfit sucked.
Uncharted; Drakes Fortune: I had originally beaten about 60% percent of all the games medals, then I found out about a patch that allowed you to get trophies for the game, but you had to start all over. Getting the Platinum trophy for this game was very rewarding. Although since im not insane, i had to consult the internet to find all the treasures. Oh, and I beat the hardest difficulty setting. Man when they say Crushing, they're not kidding.
