For me, it was Batman Arkham Asylum for the PC and it was only after installing it that i realised that Microsoft had wiped their arses all over it with that stupid obnoxious Games for Windows Live thing. I straight away went and bought the PS3 version and never looked back. The PC version, I'd bought from Amazon and to this day is still lying in it's box; a constant reminder to NEVER buy anything with Games for Windows Live stamped on it, even though I already have Gears of War for that.

Nothing as far as I know...but my Fallout 3 Disc is getting a bit weathered, so if doesn't last til New Vegas I may have to get a knew one. I almost bought Fallout 3 for the PC then I found out it wouldn't work on my computer so I gave up on that.

I will admit that some of these versions are simply 'backups' per se (which makes them legal as well hurrah) and I own at least 1 legit copy of them (SSBB came out much earlier elsewhere, COD 6 and GHWT leaked and I couldn't help myself and my Amped dvd broke, but I bought each game at once I could get it)
Most of the time just multi-platform shenanigans or DVDs getting lost or simply redone for different platforms (like GTA VC and Banjo & Kazooie)

2 copies of Guitar hero 3 I bumped my xbox, 2 fallout 3's my first one somehow just stopped working there were no scratches nor did I bump my 360 weird, 2 paper mario thousand year door I just forgot to turn off my gamecube before leaving to a party and it was left on for eight or so hours, and 2 legend of zelda's collectors edition, I just lost the first one.

I guess the only one that's really applied to me was re-buying Bully when it came onto the Xbox 360. I played the original Bully on the PS2 when it first came out, but picked up the newer version because I loved the game so much and was willing to play through it again, even if it meant paying an extra $60.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2: my brother's foot fell off where he was resting it and it slammed into my 360 while Vegas was running. The 360 was okay, Vegas... not so much

Lords of Magic, because the ebay seller sent two discs even though I only bought and paid for one.

Before you say anything I did contact them and they told me to keep the extra disc, as paying for return shipping wasn't worth it to them.

Other than that I have no repeats in my collection, mostly because I do not have enough money to buy more than one copy.

I have two copies of LoM as well. the first copy didn't have the Legends of Urak quest pack. even though a playthrough of that game is only an afternoon.

I also have two copies of Age of Empires 1: one purchased on its own, one in a combo pack with 1&2 and their respective expansions.

Heroes of Might and Magic III, because it's among the best games ever, and I had to get a newer copy to play on my newer computer.

Ocarina of Time: the original and a Gamecube LoZ collector's disc.

Mostly because I keep losing the damn disc, then go to buy another copy because they are so damn cheap, only to find the disc again the very same day.

Did Blizzard give these discs feet or something?

Oh god i know what you mean, i must be on my fourth or fifth Reign of Chaos by now, possibly third frozen throne.

2x Orange Box (Lost or stolen)

2x Dead Rising (previous 360 ate the disc)

But I traded the regular one in when I went to go get Arkham Asylum.

Then I traded Arkham Asylum for my friend's PSP.
