My list: Oblivion... Just too painful to play, although people complain about it I love the way Skyrim was dumbed down.
Deus Ex Human Revolution... I just can't muster any enthusiasm for this game. Maybe because I find the PS3 controls annoying. Will try again soon.
Grand Theft Auto 4... Apart from the annoying car steering, this just seems like a hugely long game.
Far Cry 2... I keep trying, I really do, but the end just doesn't seem to be getting any nearer.
Lego Harry Potter... Such an annoying game to play with no real interfaces or main hub like the other Lego games had.
I used to have many more but just finished Mass Effect 1 and XCom :D

EDIT: Oh and you know what else I can never complete BECAUSE of games? Oh yeah, my homework -.-

Ooh thats a hard one since the list would be quite long but off top of my head

1 Super Mario - I am just not that good at it
2 Sonic - Same reason as above
3 Most RTS games - Those later stages are just nuts

I find most games aside from the ones above nowadays are pretty easy to beat

I could never finish GTA 3 San andreas because the PC port doesn't handle planes well on a keyboard and at one point you need to get a flying license to progress the games. I couldn't do it.

I never finished final fantasy XII just because of a move and I lost interest in playing it due to last leaving off with grinding and gold farming.

Never beat F.E.A.R. because I ran into a point where I just couldn't figure out which direction I needed to go. I just searched empty rooms I had cleared out over and over again. Now I can't even find the disc.

I never beat Super Mario Bros. (All*Stars) because world 7 is just way too hard for me.

I am going to only list the games of this generation or that I bought this generation.

Bought ridiculously cheap on sales but never felt like playing:

'Splosion Man, Max Payne 2 and Neverwinter Nights 2

Bought because of very high recommendations but did not particularly enjoy:

Deus Ex (original, I liked the next two), Beyond Good and Evil and Okami.

Bought but found too difficult:

FTL, although to be fair, I have done pretty much everything possible except the last boss.

My backlog is longer than I want to think about. But my nemesis, I'd say, is Rainbow Islands. I keep coming back to it, but can never beat it.

Bought a PS2 a while back (my first playstation console) so I could play all the games I never had the opportunity to with every other console I own. I currently have Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy IX, God of War 1 & 2 aaaaaaaand Vagrant Story still to go.

And they've all taken a back seat for Fallout: New Vegas.

I got glitched out of my first run through (stuck at Ceasar's Camp, EDE gone from game no matter what fix I tried and unable to obtain the Platinum Chip) back when it first came out. Bought the Ultimate Edition last December and I'm finally near the end. Just the main storyline and one last DLC to go.

Only game I can recall I've never completed due to difficulty is Punch Out!! NES. Stuck on Mr. Sandman. He's a bit of a git.

Battletoads

No, I made it past the high-speed boatride section over the immense ball pit of doom. I'm getting chased by platforming circles.

Ergo, the reason I haven't finished this game is because... IT'S HARD!

If you were to ask me a week ago, the only game would have been Dragon's Dogma.

I found the game way too generic, though it did have some decent bits, but my friend wanted to see me kill the dragon, so I beat the entire game. In under 2 hours.

It was the only game I had ever put down out of pure boredom, and I have played Two Worlds.

I only have one game that I've ever played and owned that I was never able to finish.
That game was GTA 3. I was never able to get past the mission where you had to escort 8-Ball (the bomb guy if I remember right) as he planted a bomb on a ship or something infested with hostile enemies. The bastard always ended up dying and I always ended up failing! Never even unlocked the other islands, I was always stuck on the first starting one.

I don't own it anymore and I've completed all the other GTA games since that one so I can't try again and see if I maybe just was ass at gaming when I was younger.

Company of Heroes
I keep getting rolled by the German artillery on the "defend this bridge for X minutes". I got pissed off at the Germans knowing in which house I put all my troops despite them having no spotter nearby.

So much slaughter everytime. Which is a shame because I like the game. I just can't get past that crap map.

Terraria
Found it very boring compared to MC.
Diablo 3
Played till almost reaching the end of Hard difficulty. By then most of my friends already quit the game due to it's sheer shittyness and I didn't have much fun playing it alone.
STALKER Clear Sky
I bought it to complete my series, but it felt dated when I bought it and it plays a little sluggish to. I prefer the gameplay of CoP and the maps of SoC.
Mass Effect
Found the gunplay to be really, really boring. I played as a sentinal iirc, which involves using all your abilities once every 2 minutes and then watching your AI teammates get demolished since you can only use a pistol. Was not very fun.

Dark Souls and Warhammer 40k Space Marine. Both are boring tedious slogs. Dark Souls I can forgive, I guess because some people like for that reason. But Space Marine, hell no. How do you fuck that up how do you make that boring? God is that game dull, I just can't beat it. It's just not fun.

1) FF XIII. End boss took WAY too long to beat. One time when I was really close, I died. Turned it off and traded it in.
2) Oblivion. Too repetitive. Got super boring. Just. . . couldn't. . . go. . . on. . .
3) Bioshock. Uhm. . . I have no good reasons for not finishing this. You know what? I'm going to beat Bioshock this week.
4) Oregon Trail on hard. Because dysentery.
5) Crimson Skies. My friends berated me for this one, but it was just boring.

Half-Life 2.

I've tried maybe 5 times but I just don't care. I don't get the hype and I don't care about the world or its characters. I feel bad because it's such an 'important' game but urgh, it is such a slog.

1. Dragon's Dogma - I really want to finish it, I just lose motivation a little bit after you get the Wyrm Hunt License
2. FFXIII - It just fails to interest me enough to play through the first few chapters
3. Halo 4 - The campaign is just really average and not fun to playthrough
