Final Fantasy XIII. I'm the minority in this forum that doesn't hate the game, but it just gets so boring that I need to take the game in small chunks every month or so. I'd play more if the normal enemies didn't take 5 minutes just to kill them.

And Digimon World 1 as well, although it's more because I didn't know what the hell to do after Machinedramon.

Lock's Quest, Day 100 was a bit too difficult for me at the time, and I haven't bothered to go back to it.
Mario Pinball. I sucked at that game.

I find this idea interesting. Quitting a game because it's bad is a no brainer. What about those games you never have finished even though you are enjoying them? I can think of three: STALKER:SoC, KOTOR, and Sid's Pirates (the remake). All I have put alot of time into, all were fun enough, and yet all spend a lot of time sitting there doing nothing.

I think part of it is at least when faced with serious commitment factor, if I stop playing the game, I lose all my game momentum. It's heck to get sucked back into the game again. Or worse, I *know* the game is going to consume alot of time, so I keep putting if off because I'll have more time later.

Of course, my current biggest game shame is my huge collection of unfinished DOS games. I have a copy of Full Throttle still in the shrinkwrap that I personally bought new full price. I wish afford to be that young and stupid again.

Three games come to mind, although there might be others:

Final Fantasy XII - I got to the end and then stopped playing because I got a 360. With a brand spankin' new console at my fingertips, I just plain forgot to beat FF XII.

Farcry 2 - I was playing this piece of boredom to pass the time while I waited for New Vegas. After about seven play sessions, I popped Boarderlands back into my PS3, even though I already beat it three times. You hear that, Farcry 2? BORING!

Silent Hill 3 - I lost the game before I could beat it, and can't find another copy anywhere. I blame ninjas.

I can only think of three at the moment. Cave Story (The final Boss(es)), Contra III (It's Contra, why do you think?), and Split/Second (Never bothered to). I'm sure there's more, but I can't think of any others at the moment.

Alpha Protocol, that game was just awful. Couldn't keep myself playing past the first couple missions.

And God of war 3 on titan mode... *Shudders*
This, along with GTA: San Andreas (because of that STUPID remote-controlled plane mission), and the platinum trophy for Tekken 6 eludes me because of a certain, piece-of-shit, spam robot named NANCY. Seriously! The only trophy from that game I don't have is the one you get from beating it!
I beat her with the robot army dood, who I forgot his name, there is an attack you can spam to kill Nancy easily, without it, its way too hard.

youtube it.

Left 4 Dead 2, I had so little fun with that I gave it back the day after I got it, I tried a lot, but just never did any good in it.

I finally completed that over the summer, and was half way through Jak 3 when my PS3's hard drive got corrupted. I now don't have the heart to play through them again.

Jet force Fucking Jemini w/o the guide. any one here know what im talking about(you get a cookie if you do)
What, couldn't find all the bears? I imagaine trying to finish that game w/o a guide would have been a royal pain in the...nads. Took me and a friend days upon days to get to the final boss fight (with guide, mind you) and we couldn't kill him. Always ran out of ammo.

Well...I was going to say FF9, but I actually sat down and finished it...finally.
It took me three tries over the course of 10 years, but I finished it.

Hellgate: London.
I don't plan on beating it. It doesn't deserve the honor.
Such a horrible disappointment too..

EDIT: Well, I've dredged up another zombie from my past. Might and Magic 7: For Blood and Honor.
I'm actually looking for a copy now. Can't wait to wrestle with that game in an x64 environment...ooh boy.
